I'm a newby to the pro sportsbooks. I'm familiar with the big players (pinnacle, betonsports, sportsinteraction etc.) but would be grateful for some advice on who to stay clear of? Who is good to play with? from some well-seasoned players.

I'm really looking for fast-payouts and reliable customer service.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

if your a newbee I would stick to these 2 books they are the "rocks" of offshore wagering IMO there are others like skybook and wwts that are great but the 2 below take the cake.. In my opinion, whatever you do good luck

Agreed Dante. I would also add Bowmans.

If you're a small recreational player I'd suggest Betjamaica, still part of the Olympic family, but more focused on the recreational segment.

Rio and its family of books as well as WWTS and the VIP group are a safe and good choice too.

TOW- I just got on your site. Didn't know about it until now. One question I have, and this is really for everyone. How is Betonsports.com? I've noticed you label them a no risk book. They were the first book I played with, due to the Randy White commercials that always ran on Fox Sports Radio. I beat them pretty good, and had no problems with them. When I found Therx.com, everyone told me to pull out, because they are a stiff book. I probably will never post up with them again, just out of fear. But what is the real story with them? One of my college football magazines last year had them number 2 behind WWTS, in terms of customer satisfaction among the readers of that magazine. Anyway, just curious.

Illini, BoS seems to have adressed most of the issues behind the "horror" stories of the past. Their cs has definitely improved. Do they like wise action ? Most definitely no. Will they give you the shaft if you win ? No, but you'll be likely shown the door....

Regarding BOS,

Years ago, they stiffed a prominent WISE GUY out of hundreds of thousands of dollars...

Although there were some negotiations that took place between the two parties, this case has yet to be resolved...

However, I do bet into them and I, personally have never had a problem collecting when I win, albeit rare...

I like their linesmaker a lot.

They are clearly a sports book which caters to "squares," and they'd much rather have the recreational player than the Wise Guy...

Welcome to the RX Thai!!

A good list from my perspective would be.....

Pinnacle
Bowmans
WSEX
Olympic

WSEX has a nice pokerroom also that you can transfer funds back and forth from in a flash.

Also, WSEX is great if you like betting interactives and they have futures markets.

thaimike, Pinnacle...Olympic...or WSEX are three top of the shelf sportbooks. You mentioned betonsports and Sportsinteraction. Stay as far away as you can from those 2 STIFF books.

SIA will pay, they just don't like to.The best books you could hook up with are Pinny, Bet Jamaica, CRIS, Canbet, 5 Dimes and Bet365. Both 365 and Canbet have issues but they are very solid books for the newbies of the world.

Also get a moneybookers account. Currently you can use MB at Pinny, 365, 5dimes and soon to be Canbet. You get really cheap transfers making it easier to top off Pinny after you lose your shirt there. Good luck.
