strikes out dont mean anything. More effient and he could have came out for more. Cliff Lee threw 130 pitches..anyone who does that needs 5 days rest.

Cliff Lee threw 122 according to ESPN. I guess those 9 more pitches he threw than Sabathia are going to keep him out of commission for a while...

hahaha

Even if it was 130, big deal.

loser philly fan..im talking about AJ not Sabathia. And if you think Cliff Lee can keep up with the massive Sabathia when it comes to pitch count on three days rest..YOU ARE WRONG!! good luck with Hammel..hes a real winner. Ill take the all time winning post season pitcher.

o and fewer strikeouts being 9? If AJ kept going he would have had 11. AJ could have thrown122 but the yankees need him again. Philly hitters looked clueless. However Lee did the same..AJ looked justas good.

I say if he had stayed in the game he would've gotten shelled, you say otherwise. Doesn't matter, those are simply opinions. What is NOT opinion is that Lee threw a complete game giving up only one run, and trying to pretend that a 7 inning stint and giving up one run is the same, or as impressive, is something only an idiot would do-which is where YOU come in.:hahahahah:bbsmile::pointer::ears::laughingb

Last time I checked, 9 is fewer than 10, and 7 (innings) is fewer than 9. Maybe you should take your shoes off and paw the earth like a horse

Bronx nice place to watch a game..shitty place to live. Anyway, AJ was just a dominant as Lee. 9 k's through 7. Lee had 10 through 9. AJ gave up 1 cheap run. Aj could have come out and finished the game but you have to bring in Mo. AJ was just a dominant as Lee. How many times did Philly just get a piece? Alot. Cool icons. Both pitched great.

You can repeat it till you grow a foot long dong, but pitching 7 innings and giving up a run is NOT as impressive as pitching a complete game and giving up a run, and trying to claim otherwise makes you look like an idiot

Well informed, as usual, I see. Do you have any idea what the record and ERA are of pitchers pitching on 3 days rest in the playoffs?

you stupid f***, that guy said the 122 wouldnt effect Lee on three days rest and I told him he doesnt have the body CC, does of course I was right. O yea, CC is outstanding on short term rest..2 and 1 last year with an era of .83 ERA. You being so smart..you would think you would have figured out a way to move out of the bronx. Its cool though keeping gambling its good for you.

I love this time of year.................if cliff lee had Mo in the pen he would of pitched 7 but he has lidge and Manual should have yanked him to save his arm(but he is an idiot) and actually Burnett sucks (led AL in walks I believe) compared to lee so him pitching that way has to be twice as impressive....... I totally expected NY being down 0-2 with Burnett going

Since you didn't answer the question, you showed that you don't know the answer, just like I said. When exactly was this ".83" ERA from, it sure as hell wasn't last year's playoff, 'cause he got his fat ass lit up. Lick the scum off a dead dog's dick, you brain dead prick...^^:):happyass::assmad::pointer::trx-smly0:bigfinger:tongue::fckmad::carto1710
