Won with Houston yesterday.

Can't ask an offense-less South Caro to win me money, specially now with a freshman QB. I'll take the better team all around and lay the points. Iowa defense brings home the cash. 27th T.O. margin versus 102.

Iowa-3' :103631605

One of the best defenses in college history covers the 9.
SC offense underrated by the masses.

USC-9 :103631605

Have a happy New Year full of health and wisdom.

Iowa cashes.:toast:

Like most all, I was tempted by the fat 10 points that Penn St was receiving. Kicking back and pondering what to do, ("Making a winning bet is two thirds NOT making mistakes and one third doing the right thing". OccamsRazor.08)

I knew that taking the points would be a mistake (A general 15% probability of Penn St losing SU, but covering) Can Penn St win straight up? Not against this defense. Is it a mistake to bet against one of the greatest defenses in college football? Of course it is, Penn St might get shut out.

So its either lay the points or watch. I'd be pissed if I took Penn St and watched as SC shut them down like a GM car dealership. I'd be crying what was I thinking? I was thinking 10 is too high.

So I'll take SC and lay the now 9 and tell my granchildren about betting one of the greatest defenses in College football at home laying less than a TD and a FG.

P.S.

If SC loses, I'll be telling my grandkids about the Iowa bet above.

L5Y, USC is 4-0 vs SEC, outscoring them 167-48!!!

2-1 for the day, I'll take it.

The teams above that won the T.O. battle went 3-0 ATS.

Hindsight: I forced the Connecticut bet, as VT had a much better T.O. margin. It should have been VT or watch; an obvious mistake in my part.
