I was directed to this site due to the WSEX issue, and it is nice to be at a site where people are active and have a wealth of knowledge.

I had a question, and maybe this might tick some people off..I hope not, but here goes.

I couldnt believe the posts I read about some people who are killing the book, having multiple aliases accounts etc. This to me means that people posting here are winning and making nice $$$.

My comment is that all the people winning is great, but I sure dont see anyone posting or sharing plays. Baseball is the sport of the time now (for another week) but I dont see anyone who said they were great, sharing with those who arent so great.

I am not saying I am great..I am not horrible, but not great, but the main reason of posting on a forum is not to brag or bust the chops of people, or name figures, but to share insights, and make $$$ on the expense of the book. So whats the deal with not sharing real plays?

Also, I am not a fly by night, if you are a web surfer you have seen me elswhere, and I wont go anywhere either. I will be around and have quite a bit to offer.

Thanks!

So much posting that you are bound to be confused or screwed at one point. A buddy of mine came on here for awhile and made small plays based on what was posted here on bases since he knows little about it and is sharp betting baskets. As most rookies at following, he literally never followed anyone before, he had no idea who to play. He followed one guy for awhile after he got hot and got modest plays, as he tailed off he followed another hot guy and then lost, he got off that train and got another formerly hot guy, etc. I couldn't believe this when he told me, I told him to be ashamed of himself, we all should know the golden rules of following someone just from our basic betting experience. The rule is simple, choose your horse and don't get off unless you aren't going to ride anymore. Simply put people go in cycles, good and bad, and if you follow the hot horse your results are likely to be poor. That is the reason why all these fools don't win even though they buy consensus services using good, legitimate services. You simply have to get behind one person and follow them. That part is tough on here because who knows which horse to follow, which guy is going to post regularly and do a credible job at it. And with 20 or so people on a daily basis that choice is near impossible. That is why even though its nice to have people share and post winners, its still a concept that is hard to work in the "real world".

Good points WildBill, how about kodiak7 as a candidate. The roller-coaster must start going the other way soon.

Wallstreet,

Welcome, and looking forward to your input. I (usually) chime in when I feel I have something of value to add.
