OK, so I bet against Reuter (SF) and Pineiro (Sea) last night because they both sucked in their last few games and both pitch shutout ball into the late innings. Before that, I bet the under on Fla and the catcher gets hit and has to leave the game. Pudge Rodriguez replaces the injured catcher and hits a 2-run homer in the 9th to cause the game to go over.
Sorry to sound like such a whiner. But I'm doing much better in the NFL, college football, WNBA, hell, even Canadian football so baseball is just taking up too much of my time. Perhaps I don't have my skills developed in this game yet. I look forward to Spring of next year.
Maybe I'll just fade Detroit for 5 units and take Florida for the under every game. I just need to spend more time where I'm making more money.
Here's my pick-
NYY -1.5 -161 [5 units]
Cornejo/Clemens
I know, I know. Clemens got shelled his last couple times out and Cornejo has pitched well. But the Yanks are in a playoff chase and these are the Tigers, not the White Sox or Red Sox that Clemens is pitching against.
Disclaimer: the 5 units is only an experiment and not meant for people to bet that much.
