Gentlemen..
Being a New Yorker I have been quite familiar with David Brenner..In the late 70s he was always at Rick Neumans joint.."Catch A Rising Star"..He was very funny..He..David Steinberg..Leno..Robert Klein..were before Seinfeld and very funny guys..David owned a pool hall on the upper east side for years and was very cordial to his customers..His child custody battle for his son was well documented..He was Philly guy who loved the big apple..I saw him many times at The Improv..and he is a friar..
Any show you can see with him is worthwhile..he was the Bill Maher of his day..Funny with politics, at times controversial..but always funny..If I remember correctly, a real hoops fan..The memories..
