This is a case where you guys need to have some mercy and cut us a little slack..
We have two teams working together to make this quite expensive upgrade worth the time, effort and expense we are taking to get it right..
One is a very talented Rx Tech Support Team who are doing the hard work of actually installing the templates, software, default settings, compatibility modes and a lot more to see that the Rx is as good as it can be when all is said and done with the upgrade..They have come a long way already but some work remains unfinished and they realize that, so they are working hard to finish it..
The Rx Mod team is here to act as middle men. We hear your complaints and appreciate your thanks but mainly we make sure Tech Support is informed of what you want as a group..The entire team has been involved in that process and will continue to do so until we have our Forum where you the posters can make the best use of all the changes..Ease in navigating and posting is our number one priority. Aesthetic features that are easy on the eyes the second..
Change is difficult to accept by many, we know this, which is why the upgrade has been a high priority with the entire Rx.com - from management down to us Mods and Techs..
In order to remain in business we have to balance keeping you our posters happy on one hand and on the other our sponsors need to be given consideration. That calls for a delicate balance because we can ony exist if both groups are happy with our product.
Bear with us, but feel free to post your likes and dislikes, make suggestions all you want but don't for a second think we do not hear you or are not doing our utmost best to make everyone happy with the finished product..
Bottom line: Rome wasn't built in a day and to get it right, this upgrade is going to take time. Please try to keep that in mind as the process continues to strive for a forum that is as good as it can be...
VBulletin has a great many new features but some are improvements for a free forum like The Rx. while others are not. Our Techs have to work carefully and delibrately to separate the workable and the unworkable new features. This process calls for in many cases live testing of features that may not be suitable but we only can know that after giving them a spin on live forums..Slow but sure we are getting there..
Please keep that in mind when you judge us..
