i REPECT YOUR OPINION IN MULTIPLE SPORTS, but I HAVE BEEN IN THE RACING BUISNESS FOR ALMOST 20 YEARS AND KENT IS ONE OF THE BEST RIDERS AROUND....Yes the horse got bumped around at the start and I think it took the Heart right out of him...Some horses especially the ones that Have NEVER been bumped don't respond well.....Big Brown had NOTHING left i was standing right next to Bruce Levin(very good horse trainer) and we both said way before Kent pulled him up that the horse didn't have it today...End of story...Anything else is pure rubbish...You think Kent pulled him up cause he could've gotten third and didn't want to??? Mucho money left on the table if that was to be, BUT it wasn;t horse was never even in that race...NEVER!

i agree when Big Brown was rank in the first turn and bumped twice I knew it was over for him even when he cantered up to thrid place on the outside. HE was toast. That she could have been a factor however.. I still think the most likely situation is that he trains has some hoof problem and they call it a career and he does not race again.
Everyone needs to get over Big Brown not firing at the Belmont. Bottom line he is an animal, he didnt feel like running that day, end of story. I cant tell you how many times ive been told directly by a trainer or a jockey that the horse will not lose, and lo and behold the horse doesnt even get a call. Ignore Railturd, he lives a miserable life, and just tries to get a rise out of everybody.
