They were under "minor" amounts of water...maybe 1-3 ft, but's it has receeded at least in the Quarter.

did i see a football stadium at tulane univ under water?

At least one bar in the Quarter was open all night last night, I think all of Tulane U is\was under some water.

A friends son goes to Tulane...He got out and is safe...But has been told that there is no school for this semester.....That is not definate but they are pretty sure..And has been told not sure about next semster after the first of the year.

That is tough, plus they all ready paid for this year of school..out of state tutition.........G.
