Preach on, Blue.

Why are we continually surprised when responsibility is removed, people act irresponsibly?

Preaching is funny to me ! Wife calls me Preacher, but I'm an atheist ! She calls herself Catholic.

I never got through reading Bible, before calling BS.

There's an awful lot of Christians that don't SHIT about their false religion. Be faithful, but understand your faith, is what I axe

imagine how the new FEMA director must feel....

TALK about getting thrown to the lions...

I think Bush gave Fema a nasty black eye by appointing that baffoon mike Brown in the first place, replacing trained, educated people with this friggin jack ass, rump investigator!!!! (I really think the appointment of this man is an impeachable offense!!!! there is no excuse for such f@ck up)

Judging from interviews i saw of the actual qualified, college educated employees of fema, current and former, they know what to do and are well versed on these situations.

The new FEMA director, if appropriately qualified and if promoted from the lower ranks of qualified employees, would have been prepared for this event..

Dont forget that after Katrina hit, they reported several times and very clearly that there were about 4 hurricanes of this category with a 40% chance of hitting this area again!!! I doubt he didnt know that going in.

I didn't know that there were any atheists left in the world. To believe there is no God is simply ignorant. You would have to believe that nothing created something, or the world created itself from nothing, and then somehow put order to it. No-brainer. Science doesn't prove jack and never will because you can never get past this. God exists. Period.

Before this thread reaches this pitch,
to me "preach on" is something to say when someone is on a roll and saying things you agree with, not necessarily sermonizing or being sanctimonious.
It's a jibe, a tease, if you will.

FWIW, atheism is as much a profession of faith as the most ardent religionists. Just the opposite side of the coin. Neither has any way of knowing for sure.........

Good points. I should'nt have posted that. I forgot what thread I was even int. There's nough of that in the polictical forum, and arguing that point on a forum is almost always a no-win situation.
