Just got back from the exhibition game, was very surprised with how nice it was. For being a rushed project it is done as well or better than most parks i'e visited.

Good to hear, hope the fans support it.

Of course, the city dump would be an upgrade over RFK.

Yeah RFK was a joke. Tonight was supposed to be for season ticket holders only, but the crowd was decent. I can't believe that fans would not come out for games after the word gets out. I actually think they might be improved this year. They definitely don't have any names to get excited over, but the overall line up is pretty balanced and young and the pen is strong so who knows.

Come on now...

Only 11 NL teams had a better Home record than the Nats in 2007

I read the foul poles were at 420', so I'd say pitchers have the edge

oh wait....what I actually saw was that it's 4:20

time to pack a bowl

Seems like it will be a pitchers park, i doubt that it will be to the extent of RFK though. I do not recall the dimensions but it is somewhere around 335 down the lines and 410 to center. From what I hear the wind tends to blow in from center due to it being on the anacostia river, it certainly was tonight and made it very cold.
