It's cool! It's hip! It's creative! It's warm and fuzzy! It's....ABOUT ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

Maybe Michael Moore's new upcoming movie can save the floundering Obama campaign?

Shorty, do you think the ad is lame?

I'm beginning to wonder if it's just another internet hoax. Seems too good to be true.

Absolutely. I also think it's hardly relevant and does little except maybe give people like yourself, JoeC, etc. a hard-on. By the way, I thought you don't watch videos on these pages.

The only reason I'm really in this thread is because Joe never came back to the other one (I wonder why.). He made a complete ass out of himself by regurgitating a talking point that's designed to fool others and didn't even consider if had completely flawed logic.

Surely you're not stupid enough not to recognize that.

Trying what? In that other thread you asked if there's proof that the RNC/GOP targeted active servicemen in an attempt to disqualify their votes. I said the proof exists and gave you some points of reference.

You may not want to believe it, but it's a fact that they did that. I don't see it as my responsibilty to prove it to you. As far as law school, I'm 48 and pretty much done with school. As I mentioned in that other thread, I have a bachelors degree in Mathematics.

I did once get stopped for speeding (in the early 90's). I successfully convinced the officer that I wasn't. He also asked if I ever thought of becoming a lawyer.

This video was short and sweet and funny

It does play into our hands about that "message of hope"

Joe has posted many a video which I haven't watched, as does random. Some videos I never even attempt to watch, others I click and then immediately stop because of their length.

I especially avoid the war of videos threads. When taking a position on something, I prefer to write and read words.

I stopped watching videos because I got tired of some guy talking about something and merely giving an opinion and/or making an accusation, they almost never provided any new facts or proved what the poster indicated they might prove. Some of the speakers in a few videos I know for a fact were lying, especially with respect to Joe Bannister and tax law cases, so I stopped wasting my time.

If you want to learn about the "voter caging" scheme from 2004, I recommend you take the 15 minutes needed to watch the PBS segment I posted in that other thread (in 2 parts). You really shouldn't try and comment on the subject without viewing it. Not viewing it puts you at a tremendous disadvantage when discussing the matter and sometimes makes you look like you have no idea of what you're talking about. If you think the information in it is a lie, so be it. I don't see anything wrong with being skeptical, but I think it's a big mistake to conclude that it's a lie. Note that when I posted the video, I prefaced it by saying that it doesn't constitute proof. It does, however, provide a strong point of reference to understand the matter.

As far as this moveon.org video is concerned. I never go to their site and I'm not part of that organization. However, I do recall in 2004 some people made a big deal about a nazi reference in a moveon.org video. It turned out that they had a contest to make a commercial. The submitted commercials allegedly were put up on their site for people to vote on. The winner of the contest would then get their commercial aired on network TV. Some entrant won the contest, but it wasn't the one with the nazi reference. I thought the whole thing was blown way out of proportion and, as you can imagine, some right wing zealots went a little overboard.

I have absolutely no knowledge that this is true regarding this video, but I wouldn't be surprised if this video was submitted by someone as part of another contest. If it is, I doubt it will win.
