New MLB system:
If a team with a losing record wins 4 in a row (and still has a losing record), bet against them the next two games to win one unit. If a team with a winning record loses 4 in a row (and still has a winning record), bet on them the next two games to win one unit. Similiar to the home chase, if they win/lose the first one, the chase is over.
Sounds simple enough and it is. Since the All-Star Break the record is 16-1 with the first loss coming this past Tuesday when Houston beat SF. It may have went 17-0 if Lincecum had not taken a line drive off his knee, but that's how it goes sometimes.
I've been playing chase systems for years and losing. However, since this is only two games at a time, and the winning percentage has been great thus far, it is going well. Another good thing is that the majority of the plays are underdogs or small to medium favorites.
For record keeping purposes, we will attempt to win one unit on every chase. We do have a play tonight:
Phillies (-120) at Padres (Moyer vs Maddux)
$120/$100
The Phillies were just swept by the Dodgers in a 4 game series and will look to bounce back tonight.
Good luck! Will update record later tonight and if there is a possible play tomorrow.
