New Jersey moving forward on internet gaming

NEW JERSEY -- The governor may be trying to revive land based gambling in New Jersey, but the city is also considering online gambling in its plans, according to Atlantic City Weekly.
A state senate committee has approved a bill that would allow internet gambling for New Jersey residents, the report said.
Now the bill, proposed by State Sen. Raymond Lesniak D-Union., will go before the entire senate for consideration, Atlantic City Weekly said.
Lesniak is a strong supporter of the state's racing industry, the report also noted.
