You want reasons...All the talk is how phony the chiefs are is really taking away how very fortunate the patriot team has been all year..
I have to give them credit though especially w/ the patchwork defensive this team had to install....All and all they've played extremely well (in the sense that they won every game that could easily have gone the other way).....
This is in no way shape or form a 11-2 team....With the bounce going the other way this could just as easily be 8-5 to 7-6......and maybe even 6-7...
I will break down the games they played later...It's quite amazing if you haven't seen this team play.

Brady's got a horseshoe up his a$$. You want to bet against that? 7 is alot here and I'd take the Jags too, but to say NE isn't an 11-2 team is ridiculous. Best coach in the league, vastly underrated defense, the best clutch QB in the league and a lockerroom full of guys who think they're going to win every game is a recipe for a Super Bowl run...i.e. two years ago. Keep thinking they're overrated and watch them win their 2nd in 3 years. I love it.

Yes,..NE is hot..and yes I don't like to go against streaks but this team is due for a fall for many different reasons.....I realize that Jax has not won a road game yet this year but they're playing really solid football right now...
The negatives are that The Pats D could really curtail this Jax offense at home...Plus,..you have L-wich who can single handedly lose this game himself vs. this defense if you like NE..(hedge on UNDER)

No need to read in on anything here....NE has injury casualties, and playing on the road....Won't hold this arse whoppin against them
game 2 at Phil
Caught Philly at a very low point......Philly turned tha ball over 6 times and Rush Limbaugh's addiction to pain killers continues.....I can't say that they would have lost but they were very opportunistic and one of those planetary alignments seemed to be in order
game 3 ..The Jets outplayed and outgained them in Foxborough..NE got a defensive TD in 4th quarter w/ was the difference..The nyj were w/o their top cover guy and Testeverde was at qb as well..
game 4
Washington dominated the game..and blew a sure cover allowing NE to lose by three..I know I got the push w/ Wash
game 5...
A defensive INT late in the 4th qtr secured the win for the pats at home...Tenn was driving for the winning TD and McNair was picked..They would have scored and won...
game 6...
Another mistake filled crappy game from the giants...they pounded them in the first half and had little to show for it..(like most of the year)..The final score was not indicative on how close the game was, even at Foxboro.. The Giants really lost the game themslves, not so much Ne winning it..
game 7
Miami's Mare missed 2 chippy FG.....one to win it in the fourth and one to win it in OT......NE won the game in OT...should have been a loss.
I'm not going to keep doing this...but in case you missed it NE was fortunate to beat Indy two weeks ago...Indy was stopped on the one yrd line on 4th down....
