the problem with that bet is

a) can Brady stay healthy?
b) NE defense is better than KC defense. With that, NE may need to pass less later in the game with a big lead. OTOH, KC will be forced to pass pass pass throughout the game playing in catch up mode most of the season and that could lead to some junk KC TDs

i'll wait to see if ol Matty continues to suck thru the preseason. Hard to judge by the game against Houston when it was pouring the entire game

My local offers this prop....They have Brady matched up pretty much against every QB in the league...

SDF...very good points by you. I'm strickly looking at the talent on the field and not overthink this. Brady is significantly better than Cassel ( i think we both can agree on that) and his targets are stupendously better. Even with McDaniels gone, this team will throw the ball a bunch!!! Look at the TE's we have now. Brady threw 2 to Baker in the first preseason game and I think that will be the norm for this team. And we know Bill isn;t afraid to run it up on teams, even when he probably shouldn't.

Couldn't agree more. The "Star" players looking for gold when leaving NE, soon find out they have nowhere near the supporting cast to showcase their talent.
