thinking about picking up a cheap flatscreen desktop off a friend for $250 so I can network them together. have a few questions first as obviously i know dick about pc's. is it as simple as just running a couple wires from each one? would like to eventually get 3 but 2 will do for now so i can scan different lines at multiple books, play more poker, etc, makes it easier. also where could i find out how to do this? bascially the 2 monitors end up operating off one computer, right? if so, will that slow it up and take forever to load different pages? thanks.

The Man: It sounds like you want to do 2 things. First is sounds like you want to connect 2 PC's and then you want to connect 2 monitors on 1 PC. Which do you want to do?

The_Man:

You need to purchase a video card that has a dual output.

In your term (bog my computer down). The answer is NO, with that said. I'm thinking that you have plenty of memory, minimum 256mb and above will do.

Hope this helps.
