Pistons -5.5 and total 166 - ML-255.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Detroit and New Jersey are out of secrets, and soon one team will be out of time to make a championship run.

A year after both reached the Eastern Conference final -- where the Nets swept the Pistons -- one will fall short of that after Thursday night's Game 7 at The Palace.

"Everybody knows what's at stake," Detroit's Ben Wallace said Wednesday. "It's not going to come down to Xs and Os. It's going to come down to who wants it more."

Larry Brown and Detroit....

Detroit has alot working in its favor here...Huge coaching edge, home team game 7, Nets have no half court game whatsoever, the ONLY reason this series is close is the injuries IMO...

Kidd has been horrible, Detroit has really put the clamps on him...If Detroit makes some shot and keeps N.J. off the break, N.J. has no chance at all...its that simple

although i am leaning to the Nets because of their experience in BIG games, u cant help but like the links and grudged between the Pistons & Pacers, should they meet...

You have the obvious ties, being the current Pacers coach coached the Pistons the last 2 seasons, and the current Pistons coach, coached the Pacers a few years back....

ex-teammates Jermaine O'neal squaring off against Rasheed Wallace....

Pacers President Larry Bird, firing Isaih Thomas (the darling of the Pistons)...

and just on an odd note, The Pacers and Pistons played on opening night of the NBA season, would be odd to start your season and end it against the same team...

Motown. Nets had their chance and choked at home. Pistons too strong up front. Game #7 home court, 85%. Might be close, but could be one of those 85-71 games...OF

Unbelievable Kidd gags with a donut for the game. 90-69 Final. Next up Pacers.

I had 85-71. That 5k was going to be tough guess with a 21 point margin. If you force Jason to shoot, his achilles heel, that is end of show. Pacers will have hands full with this Motown squad. Lot of bad matchups. But home court might prevail. Best Wsihes...OF

Nets were worn down a bit but where were the guys that went to triple OT war two back?

Kidd came up small but he has a pass. Nets were a joke season's prior to Kidd showing up. He put them on the map. Didn't follow the politics of firing Scott but from doormats to back to back East titles. Let's fire the coach. Reminds somewhat of Herzog in K.C., Johnson in Dallas. (both teams went downhill fast.)

OF, nice. My first thought was the same. N.J. had stepped up in the playoffs but blew it in game six. Then I go to the numbers and find a way to play N.J. First instinct is usually best. Should have at least passed. My money had no shot wire to wire. Feeling really stupid about the deal. And I usually only give myself at most a five minute grieving period off any loss. Still, next case.
