Save the 13 bucks...Neteller regular mail (2.00 fee) its in your mailbox in 3 business days....

I don`t think its unreasonable to pay the FedEx (15.00) fee...But for those that think it will take forever via snail mail, it actually arrives in just 3 business days...Unless you need the money ASAP, regular mail works just fine...for 2.00 you can`t beat it...

Jman...I just would not trust the regular mail with a check..I would rather pay the 15$ , if I was doing it your way, so I knew for SURE it will be comin in 1 or 2 days...JMHO

I use to have the same worry (what if it got lost?) I have had it sent reg mail about 50 times now, that adds up...50x`s 13 is 650...I think with all the fee`s on everything its worth it...

Jman,

You are way off on this one. I know someone who requested a check on Feb 8th. He lives in the states, and he's still waiting. WHen he called neteller and asked if they could cancel that check and mail him a new one, they said he'd have to wait until March 10th before they would be will to do that. If he's lucky, he'll have the check by the end of March. Worst case scenario is that his letter was delivered to the wrong person, and that person deposited the check. No idea what neteller would do then. But IMO they are taking this way too lightly.

Jman-

LOL...A week is average for me since I've only used the check method once.

I'm not disputing your 3-4 day estimate BUT I would advise folks to look at the big picture. If the cashout is small then maybe snail-mail is a good option but for a fairly sizable amount I say go with FedEx. I have a tendency to be "penny wise but pound foolish" but in this case I think the cheaper cashout options are not the best for me.

in your heart, you know i'm right

depends on the amount of the check. if its like $5,000, i'll take it fedex...if its $500, maybe i wouldn't wanna spend the $13.

i personally use the ach bank transfer option. works pretty well and the wife never sees a envelope in the mail from "neteller".

Of course 5 grand is a different story...I`m talking between 1K and 2K...I don`t like to give it away on fees....
I give enough away when I chase after getting f*cked without vaseline on blown extra points, last second shots, missed free throws, miracle Pro Bowl comebacks, games canceled due to lightning etc...I have taken on a new leaf 'grinder'...

Sorry about that Neteller mail story, I have never had a problem maybe I`m in the mail jet stream...

I think waiting for the snail mail is OK. I hate paying fees. I'm a former ****** worker. I've had Fed-ex deliver large checks of mine to wrong unit. I haven't posted in a long time, but read posts here. I'm better known as "Doug" at Wong's site.

Is there a way to change my handle ?

Oops: I guess I never posted here before, only registered, I guess, since last post was number one.
