Adding to this discussion of 'simpler times' ... I sent a bank wire yesterday. Sixteen hundred bucks, not much at all. Had to fill out a small form stating what the wire was for. Bank draft, money order, etc. no such requirement. Just for wires.

My neteller account was closed/suspended today several days after I finished doing any peer to peers....

the good news is I have no money there at this time, and they claim they will re-activate it as soon as I send them scanned copy of DL and utility bill.

Bad news is I dont have a scanner so I took a photo with my digital camera which they told me should be okay.

Bad news also is that some of the books I am currently doing business with like Betfair and some others INSIST on paying out the same way the money came in, so I cannot collect from them until neteller reactivates my account.

I had a cheque pending that I cancelled. Requested an EFT instead on Monday. It's in my bank account now.

very good news, I may risk a BETFAIR>NETELLER>EFT transaction if they re-open my account.....

Im having a hard time finding value @ betfair, It think the only real value to be had is on soccer and tennis as well as live wagering, worth having some funds there but I have way too much there at this time.

Can a Canadian customer with a USD account use the Neteller card in the US to withdraw? That would be the only way to collect USD right now. Neteller claims the card is valid worldwide.

I dont have a Neteller card, and im not about to drive down there to find out.

No, you can't. Neteller is greedy, thay want to reap the 1.9% exchange processing fee.

My recent EFT was for US$2000 and I received C$2,309.

When you requested the EFT, neteller prompted the exhange rate to you. It's worse than Bank's rate, more worse than exchange market middle rate.

be careful woody, many books claim to offer Canadian accounts, but at the end of the day they do not have "true canadian processing".....

It's true. USD account is still the best.

I just got my EFT money into my TD Canada Account @6:00PM.

I transferred from NETeller to Pinnacle today with no trouble. But have otherwise been quiet on that front.

Barney: presume your cheque is arriving in USD$? NETeller can't move any US funds right now. You should cancel your cheque and request an EFT instead.

received neteller withdrawals from betcris on friday, pinnacle and bodog on sunday.

tradebetx is no longer offering withdrawals via neteller

i processed a withdrawal to my neteller debit card and it took two days to clear to my card. then i was able to withdraw it . i plan on taking another withdrawal in the next two days and will give u info at that time. i am Canadian with a usd dollar account at neteller and a Canadian bank account

Uploaded my NT card and funds there avaialble within couple of hours.
I did order new one in Canadian Dollars ,my old one was USD,just to avoid
any troubles down the road.
