I placed 2 units on the Sox to win the series at -160 , do I play Oak tomorrow at +145 to hedge my bet or LET IT RIDE on the Sox

Let it ride and put more on the Sox tomorrow. The A's are cooked.

Pedro is going to show up, you can bank on that. Zito has already made public he doesn't like to throw on short rest and it looks like the Sox bats woke up a bit. Ortiz may be back on track following that huge hit today. Then you've got Oakland's track record of finding ways to lose these series after having a lead.

I would not go against the Sox, no way in Hell.

I did the same thing and was thinking about hedging some also. Thinking of maybe going a total of half my bet and split it up on the A's +1.5 and the A's outright. Home teams are solid in this series. Any opinions?

I want to add that I have Boston at -140 and bet it more than I usually do so I am a bit nervous about it. That's why I think I should hedge.

If you are nervous, do what you need to make yourself comfortable again. And be happy with the decision. If Boston wins, which is what you want, don't beat yourself up for hedging. Make your plays and live with them.

With that being said, you are on bonus time with the BoSox now because Oakland should have won game 3.

Thanks for your imput Curt & Mosi...I will not hedge and I will let my bet ride...no run line plays, no first 5 innings, no garbage....I wagered with a feeling that Bosox could win the series....and when they do all the better...
