My first visit to this forum here
I have an Arena Football League spreadsheet for this season that is 17 sheets. 1 for each team (16) and 1 that I use to rank each team in several stat categories (pulled from the 16 other sheets). I then add each team's ranking in each category and divide by the number of categories used. I have 12 categories now and it is quite time consuming to manually add. I actually run 3 other sets of this, weighting different categories and averaging the results.
My question is, how can I set it up where after I input the latest week data into each team's game log and sort, the rankings are computed automatically?
For example, here is one stat category ranking:
Total Offense
1 New York 313.18
2 Dallas 309.64
3 Grand Rapids 294.55
4 Arizona 291.45
5 Los Angeles 289.27
6 Colorado 284.09
7 Tampa Bay 281.73
8 San Jose 273.27
9 Georgia 268.36
10 Las Vegas 263.45
11 Detroit 256.64
12 Orlando 251.73
13 Chicago 242.36
14 Indiana 234.27
15 Carolina 226.00
16 Buffalo 211.64
If the following week, Arizona takes over Grand Rapids for the 3rd spot, I want Excel to automatically adjust when I sort, they jump a spot and recalculate their total in the master ranking (would be a 3 rather than a 4).
I hope I'm making sense here. If not, I'll try to explain more.
Thanks
