ok, so im one of the last people left in my work football pool. I win the pool if the texans win and over 40 pts or more are scored. what is the best way to in your opinion to bet to make sure i come out with atleast some profit.

thinking parlaying jags moneyline and Under. but would it be better to do seperate bets?

I'd do separate bets myself. If you hedge with a parlay, you have a chance to win nothing.

I know your not talking about heding a parlay bet, but now that I've brought it up....I used to hedge the final bet of parlays to eliminate the risk to zero. Then I realized hedging parlays effectively means paying more juice. And then I realized football parlays already have inherintly more juice than side bets so I quit making parlay bets altogether.

maff is fun.

well if the texans win and over 40, ill win like $350 from the work pool.

if i was to toss $50 on jags and $50 on under, they could cancel each other out, with say the jags winning and over hitting, id break even (lose juice) and not win my woork pool.

It would depend on how much the pot is worth. How much did you put into the pot? How much would you be happy with winning?

Is the contest ATS related? If not, then a bet on Jax +3 wouldn't hurt you too much. You just need to hope for a push or a win by 1 or 2. Then you can also bet Under 48.

A 25/25 split of the total winning amount would be good. Example: $100 pot... $25 on Jax +3 and $25 on Under 48.

Good luck, whatever you do!

Texans are going to win this game handily.
They are going to wear their red uniforms in which they are 1-0 in. This is my LOCK pick of the year.
