Some friends of mine have decided to go to Vegas to get married. Not a spur of the moment thing by any means, but anyway wanted opinions from people who either live or have stayed at many of the hotels in Vegas. Wedding party of about 15-16 people. The bride to be has narrowed it down to The Mirage (which I know many have touted here and I mentioned it to her), Paris, Mandy Bay, Bally's and the Tropicana. She wants an outdoor wedding though. Need input on what you guys think are the positives and negatives of these choices or you can add another if you like. She has talked to some people at some of the hotels and they said they would block some rooms off at a discount if we decide to use their hotel. Wish I could make it to The Bash to scout myself, but conflict with work prevents it. Wedding is set for first week in October and we're looking at staying Sun-Thur. Thanks, I appreciate any input.

I am with Demarco on that one and I am still married from 1982. And I also tied the knot in Vegas at midnight (was not drunk, so no excuses) at the Candlelight chapel next to the Riveria. Just curious Vegas people is it still there. Best of luck.

I got married less than three years ago at the Flamingo and I highly recommend it. They have some package deals that include really fabulous Suites.

Although an older property the Flamingo has extensive grounds that provide an excellent backdrop for an outdoor wedding. Tropicana has extensive grounds also.

Of the listed properties I don't know of an outdoor area at Bally's/Paris except the entrance on Flamingo Road.

Got married at the Venetian. They have great wedding packages. I don't know about room discounts unfortunately. I get comped at the Rio, so that's my home away from home.

Agree that the Trop should be crossed off the list.
And also agree you should check out the Flamingo, the back area is beautiful and perfect for a wedding. The best I have seen and I scouted around with a couple a few places.

The Suite We got was on the top floor facing the strip right across from Caesars and the Mirage. It was one of the nicest if not the nicest I have ever been in ! Highly recommend Flamingo as We got married there because one of my best friends also got married there and it was so nice setting outdoor Chapel
