I know its best to hedge when it's guaranteed profit but want to know what is the best option when you have 4-4 team and 1-5 team parlay with last leg open on all of them going. They are all for same amount except the 5 team one which is double the amount. How would you play them?

So you can make 1 pick and play it on all 5 parlays or you can pick 5 separate picks is this right?

I have 4 separate 4 team parlays going with last open leg open for each one to close it out. And one 5 team parlay with last leg open to close it out. Can make 5 different picks or play same pic on all of them if I wanted to.

Tonights not a great night but if it were me I'd take a moneyline play. Only good one tonight is Washington (-390). Washinton State is 1-9 on the road and Washington is 12-3 at home. I'd probably wait until tomorrow and find a better game. Or you could find a couple ML you like to have a better chance of hitting a few.

I can wait to play them... just trying to figure out how to get most back. In the past I would play 2 of the same pick and 2 of the opposite for profit but would like to get all 5 to hit somehow.

you could do that on the 4 team parlay so you'll hit 2 for sure. Depends what amount you are going to walk with if you bag two. Tons of games Sat. I'd think I would still shoot for ML plays though. Let me know what you decide to do. Good Luck!

Good Call. Washington line (+8.5 to State) Caps out as 64.5 (wash st.) 75.1 (wash), don't like it though.

I am on Providence tonight but I wouldn't play it in your Parlay. They are getting 2.5 and they are playing a banged up seton hall team thats 5-10 in the Big East. They (Prov) are also the #1 shooting free throw team in the nation so what the hell. Last time they played it went to double O.T. So small play for me.

I feel like if you'd like to win them all the best option would be find 2-5 different teams you are very confident with and bet them moneyline.. Won't pay as much but would be your best chance I win all 5.. Otherwise you could always go moneyline favorite on 5 teamer and split the other 4-4 with two ml favs and the two opposite the same game but ml dog.. Gaurantee you two wins and if u pick a good dog to root for could pay out well and still have your 5 teamer to go 3 for 5.. Or you could do all 4-4 with the ml fav and the 5 with the ml dog.. If the fav wins you win 4 out of 5 and if you pick a good dog and it hits you'll win a Lil more on the 5.. It's kinda hard for me to really say without knowing numbers.. Haha sorry just a number and visual person.. Hope that gives a couple ideas even though you w probably already thought of these. Either way good luck man

Actually I haven't thought of it...I usually play dog spreads so I will punch in the numbers and see how much I lose value on it.

You could always play spreads that's not a bad thing but if your gonna do that your most likely not gonna win all 5.. The sides might pay out a little better at -110 instead of a -200 to -300 favorite.. But if you do sides you might want to just hedge it and do two parlays with the dogs spread and two parlays with the fav spread and then ur guaranteed the two parlay wins and you can do whatever with the five teamer.. If those two will give you enough profit your comfy with then you can get risky and put a small ml dog with the 5 teamer.. Really you should just do like you said and punch some numbers and see what your satisfied with winning and what u want to risk to have a chance to win big.. If it were me I'd split the 4 teamer in two the best way possible to get a good payout for guaranteed two wins and risk the 5 teamer with my favorite small ml dog.. But I've been doing well this year and I like to live on the edge haha

Or punch the numbers and see what doing all ml plays would pay if you do 3 of the 4 team parlays with the ml favorite and put the ml dog on the last 4 team parlay and 5 team parlay so it pays more.. Might guarantee a little bit more profit possibly.

The way you did it is the smart way as it guarantees you WINNING MONEY!!!! Another way is to look at a game you feel will be very close and you buy points both ways. Say a team is -2.5 pt favorite and you buy that team down on one parlay to -.5 and on another parlay you take the opposite team +4.5. A nice 4 pt middle on a possible close game and you could win both parlays losing a little money on the extra juice but well worth it

That's a pretty good idea Bernie.. Guarantees yourself a profit and a possible all 5. This probably better than why I said IMO. Depending on your risk/reward and how much your trying to win or gamble I guess.
