Hey guys. I want to make a NFL future bet for the playoffs. I plan to wager $100 and want to know what you think would be the best bet. THANKS.

Have a great NEW YEAR

Become a Chiefs fan. They are flying under the radar at a really good price for both afc and superbowl. Andy is due.

Now that the playoffs are set, would you still play Chiefs? My odds currently are +350 AFC and +800 Super Bowl. f you played the Chiefs would you put it all on the Super Bowl and go for the homerun or split between the AFC and Super Bowl.

Give me the best odds you can get for each team and I'll let you know how you should position yourself.

Please list down the conference and Super Bowl odds, if possible.

Just go Patriots and win a little money. They have the best balance of offense and defense in the NFL. If the Cowboys make it against the Patriots, Belicheck has a track record of owning rookie quarterbacks who don't know how to play effectively when a good coach starts throwing a wrench in their usually static game plan. I'm a Texans fan first (unfortunately) and pats fan second. They have one of the best teams I've seen in a while. Steelers and Packers seem like good options too if you like either of them. Giants for a dark horse pick...they've done it before. Good luck!

Don't spend the 100 in the AFC for sure, Pats are too solid, and it pays shit.
You wanna try an NFC team to do something.
Defense Wins super bowls, we know that!
:toast:
Enjoy 100 this weekend
Parlay Sea./Giants, then ya have $360, they we get ya farther!

Careful with the Seahawks .
I think Seattle goes down this week. The last 2 weeks they've played like shit. The defense is not close to being the power house it was before injuries kicked in. On offense the Lockett injury is enormous. You can't teach speed. When Lockett got healthy around week 10 or 11 he became a huge part of the offense.
Earl Thomas went down vs Carolina in week 13. Thomas injury is even bigger. Since he went out you can pass the ball around on Seattle
Through the 1st 13 weeks of the year with E.Thomas in lineup the Seahawks surrendered 8 passing TD's . . Without Thomas in weeks 14 through 17 , The Seahawks have allowed 8 passing TD's in the 4 game span (1 game vs the Rams. NO TDs...they don't count :):))
so basically vs 3 opponents ( GB 4, AZ 3, SF1). Seahawks went 2-2 without E.Thomas
I can't forget the sideline drama from the past few weeks . What the heck is that about.
That tells me Seattle is fading fast. I don't see anyway they can win while covering the 8 point spread. IF they win it's by a field goal .

avoid Dallas, Pats and Pitt. You're not getting very good odds with them.

Pats had a ridiculously easy schedule this year facing only 3 playoff teams, losing to 1 of them and getting the backup QB (Landry Jones) in another. Beating the Texans at home wasnt exactly a test either. They faced one solid team this year and got drilled at home by Seattle. They will cakewalk their way to the AFC championship before they get tested again. Not much value here with the short number

Dallas looks good and their rookies now have a full year under their belt. Dak was able to learn a lot from Romo over the year. Very good offense. Decent defense. Great kicker/punter. HFA thru playoffs helps as well but you're still looking at a team that hasnt seen playoff success in years and their road will to the SB will be tough. Again, there just isnt a lot of value in the number here.

Det. Mia. Hou. ...wont sniff the SB. they got here winning with good, but not great, play and easy schedules.
Oak. wont sniff the SB with Connor Cook and that weak defense

Sea. SHould win first game but winning next 2 will be tough on the road. Their defense is not as strong without Earl Thomas and they lack a running game.
Experience will help though but they just arent quite the same team that beat the Pats earlier this season.

Pitt....great offense, mediocre defense. Decent coaching. They have the pieces to beat NE but winning at KC wont be easy

KC...feels like they luckboxed their way to the #2 seed with the other teams here either being bad or suffering QB injuries. Great special teams. Great defense. Mediocre offense. I dont think they can get past NE though which makes them less valuable

NYG....road warriors in the playoffs. Awful run game. Decent pass game. Great defense. I think they can get past the GB juggernaut.

Atlanta....first round bye. Great special teams. The best offense out there. Terrible defense.

for me, the value lies in Pitt, Atl, GB and NYG. Of those 4, Atl has the easiest road getting a first round bye and second round home game likely against a lesser Seattle opponent. The AFC is considerably weaker though with 3 of the 6 teams having 0 chance to make the super bowl which makes Pitt attractive.

My complete analysis can be seen in another thread, "Early wildcard lines". See page 2.

If pressed to pick from that list I'd say Atlanta +300 to win the NFC. Final answer.

But seriously, those odds are so bad it's like playing Powerball.
