So to be brief i bought a 2000 aston martin from luxor motors in dundee, IL, the car had a clean car fax and i was told it was in excellent shape in everyway possible. Anways after i get it home i hear a knocking sound everytime i make a right hand turn over 25mph. I take it in and find out the car has been in a serious accident that has been covered up, and the cost of repairs will be 27k.

I than call the dealership and they basically tell me to go to hell, so sad to bad but the contract was for "as is."

Anyways i would luv to ruin their ebay business, the link to their website is http://luxor-motor-cars.ebizautos.com/. Copy and paste a car from their inventory into ebay and it should pop up as they sell most of their cars through there.

I will pay anyone that pretends to buy a car than leaves them negative feedback $15, just tell me your paypal account or you could privately send me your address and i will be more than happy to send a check.

I would luv to take these scum bags down.

Who the fuck would by a used car on Ebay of all places? Online purchasing should be used for collectibles, porn, books, anything thru Amazon.com or watches from Betallsports. Never use it to buy transportation. Do you not remember how bad of an experience it is to buy a car from a used car salesman? But at least you know where the guy works so you can get your payback on a lemon or deception in the form of a lawsuit, assbeating, or vandalizing his place of businees. If the worse you can do to an ebay seller is provide negative feedback then the risk isn't worth the reward.

That carfax "warranty" is very specific and most likely will do nothing for you. To add insult to injury, I don't think you can leave negative feedback anymore on ebay.

This doesnt seem right at all.....When he told you u bought it as is go to hell, are u sure you had the blade firmly pressed against his windpipe and the RIGHT knee on his nuts?????
I know sometimes we get lazy and use the left knee or hold the blade loosely, etc. If you want proper results you have to do it properly.....

I had 2 friends buy cars on Ebay. A 1963 Caddy and the other a Viper. Both had good luck with their cars. It sucks when you get scammed. I on the other hand would never buy a car on Ebay.

not sure if it would help but you could always tell them you're going to contact the local media, newspapers, and your state's Attorney General's office. Then do all of the above if they don't respond in a manner that suits you.

It isn't unusual to buy a car, boat, motor home or airplane on e-bay. People do it every day. You just need to be smart about it ask a lot of questions and make recourse arrangements in writing ahead of time if something goes wrong. In most cases the seller will work with you so that you don't file a case with e-bay against them. E-bay will try to make the seller hold to how the item was describe in the auction. If it isn't how it was described they will persuade the seller to make some kind of recourse. You also have $50,000 in buyer protection through E bay FREE! <><>

Do you have documentation from them stating it was in excellent shape before you purchased the car? I would suggest contacting the Illinois Attorney General's office.

Here's the link:

http://www.illinoisattorneygeneral.gov/index.html

You may be better off calling them or sending a certified letter than emailing them. For some reason, emails do not receive the same attention they should from gov't officials.

Good luck taking these scumbags down.

complain the the AG about their ad

complain to carfax and the AG about the apparent fraud they committed

complain to the BBB about all

spend a few hours on the weekend picketing in front of their dealership with a sign that says "CARFAX FRAUD", or pay somebody to do it for you. Have printed reports to hand out explaining what happened. A person in my hometown did this to a dentist, earned some relief.

Doesn't Ebay or Paypal have some buyer protection?

I d get a lawyer and go from there,, don t let them get away with it

Correct. Some states have lemon laws. Also, just because he says it was sold "as is" doesn't mean that you can't go after him for losses if he stated that it was in excellent shape. Of course the burden of proof that he said so is on you. You must provide an email or some other proof that it was stated like this. If the salesman simply said it you could get him under oath in court but oftentimes people like this have no conscience against other people.

A buyer can, a seller cannot.

Carfax is a waste of money. Alot of accidents go unreported.
