calculates slightly different Paybacks than promoted at most Books.

Two selections at -110 show 5 for 14.22, instead of 5 for 13

Three at -110 show 5 for 29.79

Can anyone point me to one that calculates based on 2.6x1 twoteamers (-110) and 6x1 threeteamers etc?

IMO, a calculator should show +264 for two, and +596 for three ( and that's rounded).

A book might calculate slightly differently... +260, +600..... if they do so, never bet more than 3 teams.... they will really screw you on the 4th team...and higher.

10-1 on 4 teams really blows, should be 12.26-1 ( from memory).

Parlay with a purpose.

Bookmaker calculates fairly, as much as I despise them. Props to them for that.

I don't parlay using -110s

I only parlay with some combination of minus moneylines and plus moneylines - thus the need for a calculator.

Agree with "parlay for a purpose".

Mine is usually to keep my exposure down when trying to catch a couple of minus moneyline selections, or to capitalize on a pair of plus moneylines when I think I've got a pair that work.

I did use -110 in my examples above because I was confused that inserting those into a calculator creates the 264 and 596 you mention above and I thought that was flawed since books pay 2.6 or 6

I realize now that those rounded numbers are applied to -110s because it's easy for most players to understand.

BM: It can revert (default) at some books.

A three teamer, say two -110's and a +100, could be legitimately considered a +260 and a -110, or a +264 and a -110. It's fair,enough.

A four banger at 10-1 is unfair, should be +1226 ( from memory), at -110.

old school rounding yields 2.6 and 6, fair enough... a little short on two, a little long on three.

Any discrepencies on various ML's should be very minor, as in trivial, a few cents here and there.... never like $5 on $500.... 32 cents off on a few hundred risked... I could accept.

tons of calculators exist online.

Yes you helped

As noted, what confused me was that most Books appear to set a "flat" payback for -110s since I'm sure that's the most common price played by football and basketball spread bettors.

So when I installed -110 in an online parlay calculator and got slightly different numbers, I thought it was the calculator that was off. Now I understand that when using varying moneylines, the calculator should be pretty darn close.

expect some very minor differences due to rounding, like $1501.78 instead of $1502.01... that's fine !

$1238.71 is not fine ! That means you're getting shorted !

Check it online, by all means, but values are not to be really taken to the cent, just close enough. A few cents off is fine.
