Bought a 2000 aston martin from luxor motor cars in Dundee, IL. It passed the eye test(untrained eye at that). Got the car fax and auto checker pass and pass.

Now here is the problem took the car in after a few weeks because it was making a thunking sound on right hand turns when going over 25 mph. Took it into a mechanic and he told me he has no doudts the car was in a car accident and was hit by something at probably 25-30 mph. The repair costs are $10,000. The car was represented to me as perfect and of course no accidents were ever disclosed to me by the dealership.

So what are my options here, can i go back to the dealership and demand my money back or for them to pay for the repairs? Am i screwed?

Not sure what your options are. However, Carfax vehicle history reports only contain information for cars in accidents reported to insurance companies. If someone doesn't claim it and fixes it on their own, there is no way of knowing.

Sorry, I know this doesn't answer your question necessarily, but I would contact the dealer and say they are responsible. Nothing to lose.

Do they have a "Lemon Law" in Il ?? If so, you should covered.

Pretty sure they do. Google it and should find attorneys who handle these cases.

Or have a friend call the dealer posing as someone from a consumer group and threaten to bring a busload of people out there to protest.
