If Armstrong suits up it will be emergency use only and he will be 3rd string - FYI Huskers placeholder is their 2nd string QB and has never attempted a pass. Top WR Westerkamp is out as well as top safety Gerry. Their starting QB Fyfe has 2 prior starts and he was inserted into the Ohio ST. game with Armstrong got hurt and looked abysmal. He also started against Purdue last year in a loss but they put up 40+ points but he also threw 4 INT's. With all that said I still have no idea who to pick yet as it has been a dog type bowl season so far. Just some info for you.
Don't forget --- Ryker Fyfe still has a broken left(non throwing) hand and is playing with a soft cast. Fyfe can throw the ball and did so fairly well against Maryland. Not sure what to expect with all the injuries - hopefully, guys will step up. Good luck to all but don't ever count out Nebraska, especially as a dog
Who knows which Tennessee team will show up? Nebraska back up QB is a slug. Maybe Nebraska will be able to run the ball and keep it close. Do not forget Minnesota...
I would pass on this ugly mess.
OR take a wild Tennessee - 16 + 190 in case Nebraska folds and Tennessee is fired up to show off in their home state...
