Obviously they're not elite. If they were elite they would be 7 point favorites at home. You don't have to be elite to cover 10 points at home, just not terrible. From what I've seen from them today they are a bad, bad team. They'll be right back up again in a few years though.
Still not sold on Mizzou too. They'd get beat by double digits against Texas and OU on a neutral field.
most of us knew this before deciding not to put money on them...all of the so called "rebuilding" done in the callahan era has to now be rebuilt...this is a proud tradition school that most certainly will be back...someday
Don't be surprised if Mizzou gets beat by OSU next week...You heard it here first.
So you think OSU is suddenly going to find a defense by next week. I respect your knowledge more than anyone on this site, especially on the Big 12. But, the ONLY way you can think this scenario plays out is thinking Missouri is in a let down and look ahead spot before going to Texas. You can ask anyone from Columbia or anyone who follows this team closely. The mental makeup of this team isn't like most teams in the country. They are playing with a HUGE chip on their shoulders after Kansas getting their spot in a BCS game last year. If your reasoning is something else I would really like to hear it because apperently I've over looked something. G/L
OSU is playing for survival in a tougher division. If Missouri loses, well, there is Iowa St, Kansas, KSU, etc in their division. OSU loses, they still have OU, Texas, T Tech and have to sweep them. I'm sure there could be a little let down after winning in Lincoln. Pretty comparable talent, hard not to take any available points with OSU. The over is a given too.
