While I certainly don't follow college football anywhere near as much as some of the sharp posters in this forum, I don't understand this total at all. Nebraska has a solid running game that eats up a lot of clock time. They have given up on the pass because Jamaal Lord sucks and the entire team knows it. It appears as if they have told him that he doesn't need to win the game, he just needs to not lose it. Nebraska has a good defense and outstanding special teams so they just need their QB to not lay the ball on the ground or throw an interception every other pass.
Texas will have Cedric "I want my TV set back" Benson in the line up and will run the ball a lot trying to set up the pass. I don't feel there will be a lot of big offensive plays that make a game go over. I just think the clock will be moving a lot in this game and can't see this game getting anywhere near 51.
