The Pirate

It should be noted that Nebraska's AD (Bill Moos) hired Mike Leach when he was AD
at Washington State. The Pirate would be different than past Husker coaches but the
man has proven he can win....just saying.

Don't feel sorry for nice guy Mike Riley because he will be paid $170,000 a month
through February, 2021.

Curious to know who they are reaching out to and when they are coming in for their interviews?

Been too quiet around Husker camp. More rumors coming out Frost is a done deal. Although it would be preferred he gets right on the recruiting trail for Big Red it seems Moos is content with Frost finishing the fabulous season at UCF.

I remember a similar situation with Pelini when he was announced as the next Husker coach but was allowed to finish his defensive coaching with LSU in the NC game in the Sugar Bowl. This rubbed some the wrong way including many former players thinking Pelini should have relieved his duties with LSU as soon it was announced and get into Lincoln and immediately begin his leadership role with his new group of players.

Frost is not officially announced so they’re at least a little careful this time.

Good post Ham and I think you are probably right.

Bear Bryant was ask why he would leave Texas A&M to coach Alabama. He said "when mama
calls, you come home."

I would guess Frost has heard "mama calling" loud and clear.
