Michigan is playing not to lose, Carr needs to go for the jugular or this will backfire on him.

Second TO in a row, Irish need at least a FG here to get the momentum and plant the seeds of doubt.

Was just about to ask the same thing d2bets! Maybe they just aren't used to scoring?
Still, it seemed the logical move.

Thinking the same thing D2...unless they think it's too early to go for two. But usually if you're thinking that you're also thinking you're going to score again.

My thoughts exactly d2. I thought they may fake the EP. One point does them no good here. What are they hoping for, a safety later on???

Wouldn't you rather try to go up by 3 in the 4th quarter than go up by 2 instead of 1? Esp with Mich's kicker making 4 FG's already. If Mich wins 1, Willingham will be questioned to death.

It's too early maybe early in the 3rd, but this is the 4th quarter of a low scoring game. Plus Mich has already kicked 4 FG's. That was a very poor and odd decision.

Oh i see, TWill KNEW they would block the punt and score on the subsequent play, thus making it important to get two XPts and make it a two score game.
