1 unit: 6-4 +1.60
2 unit: 5-2 +5.60

Overall: 11-6 +7.20

Clemson @ Louisville +6 (2)

Clemson off to a fine start at 2-0 and Louisville at 0-2 not so fine of a start. Clemson will leave the backyard for the first time this season. After beating up on Wofford 41-10 and Appl St 49-10 they will now be tested on the road. Louis are 0-2 but against much stiffer competition in losing at Auburn by 7 and blowing the game last week at home to Houston by 3. I would not want to be a coach and bring my team into this place on a Thursday night game against a starving team at 0-2. Last year at Clemson the game went down to the wire and the home team hung on at the end for the W. I don't know if Louis will win this game, but I do think spotting them this many is a mistake.

Florida St @ BC +8 (1)

Both teams at 2-0 and really hard to get a grip on this BC team. They have played Maine and Howard. So 2-0, might as well be 0-0 to me. Florida St still a team to be really tested with W's over Texas St and SF. They sure were tested last year at home in this game after being down and coming back and then hanging on. Small play because I like the spot at home and the trend of Florida St at 2-6 ats last 8 road games. The dog is 7-2 last 9 ats. BC usually gets up for teams with winning records as they are 9-4 ats last 13 with that in mind.

Sat: Played these so far. Reasons later on.

VT -6 (1)
Arkansas -11 (1)
Florida -3 (1)
IU/WK over 69 1/2 (2)

I like several more games and will post them when I play them.

That Notre Dame game looks so tempting, but yet so fishy!

VT -6 @ Purdue (1)

A couple of 1-1 teams with Purdue losing by 10 (41-31) at Marshall and then beat up on Indiana State (38-14) at home. Purdue is giving up 27.5 points in two games. They have also scored a lot of points, but they have yet to see a defense like VT. VT gave up some big plays in their opener but Ohio St has some primetime big play makers. VT hung in their until their qb went down. I just think VT will cause the Boilers some trouble and will get some key turnovers that will lead to good field position or thwart a Purdue drive. VT backup qb did fine as he is getting better every day. I just think their is to much separation between the two programs and my action is on VT.

Texas Tech @ Arkansas -11 (1)

TT at 2-0 with landslides over Sam Houston St (59-45) and UTEP (69-20) What a offense this team has under their former stud qb in Kingsbury. Now they have to go on the road and play a team that has given up only 20 ppg so far. Ark at 1-1 and already getting the boos for losing to Toledo 16-12. BYW, I think Toledo has a nice team this season and have always been competitive vs big name schools. Anyway, Ark in need of a nice bounce back win and stand a good chance at it. They beat TT last year 49-28 and I'm hoping they can win this game and get me the cover.

Florida -3 @ Kentucky (1)

Not really a fan of the road fav team in a conf game but I really feel like Florida is the better team in this matchup. K off to a great start as SToops enters his 3rd season at the helm. Man they had a nice W last week on the road at SC. Last years game was a tight one and it took 3 ot's to decide the game. I like the fact that Florida has won 28 straight in this series. Florida are 7-1 ats last 8 in this series. I know anything can happen and Florida has Tenn on deck but almost all teams have tough games fromhere on out back to back. Prove it to me Kentucky and I pay up.

WK @ IU over 69 1/2 (2)

What can I say. I like that both teams have very experienced qb's and it appears defenses that are pretty bad. The total has gone over in 11 of Western Kentucky's last 16 games. The total has gone over in 15 of Indiana's last 21 games at home.

WK scoring 27.5 ppg and allowing 25.0 ppg (Vandy did slow them down at home last week)
Indiana scoring 42.0 ppg and allowing 34.5 ppg

I don't see IU defense slowing down anyone this year.

Stanford +10 @ USC (2)

Stanford gets knocked off by NW at NW in the first game of the year and have been written off by quite a few. USC has come out a smoking and now their back! I'm looking at two state teams that have become quite a competitive rivalry. The last 5 years the games were decided by 3, 3, 7, 8, and 2 points. Now I may lose this game but I really do feel like there is value in this line. Stanford D will have to step it up even more and I'm hoping both teams are feeling that macho thing in the trenches to help keep this a low scoring close game. I don't think Stanford can hang with them if it's high scoring affair.

Tulsa @ Oklahoma -30 1/2 (1)

I wanted to bet more on this game but was afraid of a possible let down after Oklahoma's big come from behind and then OT win at Tenn. (I lost that game !)
Oklahoma won last year 52-7 at Tulsa and quite frankly should be able to name the score in this one. No opponent on deck as they have a bye the following week. Tulsa at 2-0 and put up 40 at NM and beat Fl Atl 47-44 in a shoot out. I think their going to find this Sooner D (13.5 ppg) a much stiffer test.

Illinois @ NC over 63 1/2 (2)

The Illini at 2-0 under their interim HC to start the young season. They have scored 44 and 52 points in those games. They have given up 0 and 3 in the games. Hold your horses! They played W Ill and a vey bad Kent team both at home. Now they take the road where they are 2-16 SU in its last 18 games. They give up a ton of points on the road. The total has gone over in 4 of Illinois's last 5 games on the road. NC has not put the numbers up offensively that I along with others thought they would do far this season. Maybe it was the jitters at South Carolina and then taking it a little easy on their next opponent. I don't know! Just got a feeling when I saw this game that it has the potential of a very high scoring game and following that gut.

Good luck my friends and always bet reasonably!
