2015 NCAA Football
1 unit: 2-2 -.20
2 unit: 2-1 +1.80
Overall: 4-3 +1.60
Played these. Will get up my reasons soon.
Wiscy -33 (1)
Expecting a much better game from Wiscy in their home opener. They have won 19 straight home openers by average of 21 and 32 straight non c by average of 25 ppg. With Troy on deck they will not be looking ahead. Miami Ohio just doesn't have the horses to stay in this game.
Arkansas over 54 1/2 (1)
Ark can put a lot of points up on the board as they proved that last year. Of course HC Bielema loves to run it up whenever possible. Toledo will hopefully score some points as they are always competing for titles in the mac.
Tenn P (1)
How many years have they been saying Tenn is on its way back? Too many! (7-6 last year) They hung with Oklahoma last year in the first half and with all of their returning starters and coach Jones 3rd season I expect them to win this game at home. Tenn has won 20 straight home openers. On the other hand, Okl are 14-3 in their last 17 openers on the road. This should be a very interesting game in which I almost always like to have the home team on my side in the close ones.
Michigan -15 1/2 (1)
I just have to take a chance with Michigan in their home opener with Harbaugh looking for his 1st W. That place will be at capacity 105,000 most of them Michigan fans wanting results. Michigan battled hard and had their chances last week at Utah. Oregon St beat Weber St but sure didn't play very well. Anderson is a little familiar with Wiscy since he coached at Wiscy but they did not play that year.
BYU +3 (1)
I'm aware that Hill is done for the season. I watched the entire BYU/Neb game and still am impressed enough with the entire BYU team to play them at home as dogs. The frosh QB was highly heralded coming into this season and will do just fine. BYU is a very physical team. BS crushed them last year 55-30 to hand BYU their 4th straight loss. They caught them in a 3 game skid and without Hill that game. I don't know, just think this will be a tough spot for BS as they really didn't look that tough against a very inexperienced Wash team last week at home.
Penn St -20 (2)
Either I'm the biggest fool there is or going to be on spot on this one. Penn St ran into a very physical team in Temple and were just out played by the hungrier team. Penn St has the chance to bounce back big in their home opener against a Buff team that I do not think will be able to stop Penn St on D. Besides the fact that Penn St has the far superior talent, Hackenberg should be able to exploit this Buff D that gave up 47 to Army, 36 to Bowling Gr, and 37 to E Mich last year. I'm hoping for a easy cover for a change.
Cal-12 (2)
I have Cal down as one of my sleeper teams this season. Evidently, by this line they definitely aren't fooling the books. I just think they have an offense who can put up points very quickly and a D who is supposed to be much better than last year. Always dangerous in these instate games but that's why it's gambling. I wish I'd of played this game yesterday as their was a lot of value in the line. I obviously still like Cal in this one.
Texas Tech over 65 1/2 (2)
Their won't be to many times I won't be playing TT over this year. Just an offensive minded coach with another poor D that will give up their share of points. The two teams put up 56 at UTEP last year (30-26) and I expect TT to score a lot ore than 30 at home with 9 starters back on that offense.
Good luck my friends, and always bet reasonable!
good luck
