Just played these. I wanted to get them up now before the lines start bouncing around to much.

Spent most of the day going through the slate. I have a lot of games and had 11 games left on my lean list . I played all of my leans for (1). I will not be writing any of these up because it would take most of the night. I don't expect anyone to play all of these games. I am though. Bet within your means if you want to make it through the grind!!!

Will update record when Texas game is over and it's already looking over for me on that one unless they wake up. Will not play on them again!!!

Rhode Island at 5-2 and 3-4 ats scoring 79.3 ppg and giving up 68.9 ppg for a diff of 10.4
Provo at 5-2 and 5-2 ats scoring 67.1 ppg and giving up 58.3 ppg for a diff of 8.9

Diff of 1/2 point and Provo worth 3-4 at home. Hmmm, I'll take my chances with the live home dog.

Rhode Island 2-8 straight up and 3-7 ats last 10 games in this series. (struggle in the series)
Rhode Island is 3-14 ATS in its last 17 games on the road (struggle on the road and don't cover the spread much)
Rhode Island is 3-14 SU in its last 17 games on the road ( on the road in this one and favored)
Rhode Island is 1-4 ATS in its last 5 games when playing on the road against Providence (on the road)
Rhode Island is 0-5 SU in its last 5 games when playing on the road against Providence (like the trend and streak) I'm aware it could end, so be it

Providence is 8-1 SU in its last 9 games at home (take care of their house)

I will say this though, Rhode Island is a nice team and have played the tougher schedule.

Morehead @ Purdue -20 -110 (2)

Morehead at 2-4 and 0-3-1 ats scoring 78.3 ppg and giving up 71.7 ppg for a diff of 6.7
Purdue at 5-2 and 2-3 ats scoring 81.9 ppg and giving up 67.7 ppg for a diff of 14.2

Diff of 8.5 Purdue worth 4-5 at home so line could be 13 or so. But, closer look reveals that Moreheads 2 wins were over Christia 106-41 and Lipscomb 89-75. Now that sure makes the diff very misleading in this one. I just think if they can lose road games by 13, 13, and 5 to Aces, Pitt and N. Kent then Purdue at home off a loss is looking like a pretty good play to me.

Purdue has lost twice but to top 1o teams in Nova by 3 and just the other night at Louisville by 7 and it was closer than the final score.

Central Ark @ Butler -29 (2)

C. Ark at 1-6 and 1-0 ats scoring 70.7 ppg and giving up 84.0 ppg for a diff of -13.3
Butler at 7-0 and 6-1 ats scoring 78.4 ppg and giving up 60.7 ppg for a diff of 17.7

Diff of 30 Butler worth 5 at Hinkle, could be at 34-35 points and that's generous imo. This Butler team is explosive and they always play hard on def no matter who's in the game or who their playing.

C. Ark finished 7-21 last year and lost 3 starters from that team. Could be a good thing, but I'll take it as getting a little weaker. Their conf is ranked 30th out of the 32 conf and if they are a bottom tier team in conf they really must not be very good.

C. Ark shoots just 42% form the field.
Purdue at 50% form the field.

C. Ark is averaging 17 turnovers a game. Purdue averaging 7.2 steals. Not looking good for C> Ark

Oklahoma ST put up 102 against them, Wiscy beat them by 32 and SEMO by 24.

Enough, I'm on Purdue and hope they come out to play. Beware, Of big Boiler lead sometime into the 2nd half and then subs trying to score and C. Ark still playing their same style up and down and then the next thing you know your sweating the cover.

Not writing up the rest of the games. I should be around most of the day watching hoops and foots. 2nd half plays may present golden opportunities in some of the games.

United, you mentioned above that "2nd half plays may present golden opportunities" ... can you explain the situations that you try to capitalize on when taking 2nd half plays ?

I see two possible ways to play 2nd half wagers in CBB - one is to play a team in the 2nd half when they underperform in the first half - both Texas and Pitt yesterday fit this - Texas hit big in the 2nd half, but Pitt fizzled. The other possibility is to take the other side in the 2nd half when the team bet plays well in the first half - trying to hit a middle - I know I have seen you do this occasionally.

My favorite would be for example Tenn right now, ideal situation is if I had a (2) on them. To me it's when I have a team that is way ahead of the spread at half time (Tenn up 17 at half giving -5 and up 12 as far as Im concerned for my play. Add to it if their not playing a team that is a dd dog so they are halfway respected to begin with. Now I bet the other side at half for the middle. That would be GT -1 1/2 (1) A 5 to 10 Tenn win and I can't lose and could win both ways.

The other one I like is when a fav at home is down at half. Say they are giving at least 7 or more and depending on how many their down at half only have to give enough in the 2nd half to win the game. Of course I want to have the other side (dog bet), for a really good shot at the middle. Kentucky would have been a play for me if I would have bet UCLA. WOrse case scenario a split.
