Final regular season:131-96(57.71%)+57.4*

Plays rated 1-4*

2*Alabama-2.5
In the past,I would have played S.Illinois but this Bama team has better chemistry than previous NCAA squads. The Salukis will not present Alabama with anything they have not seen.Korn is not very physical inside and Willis is limited offensively.Davis should have a decent game inside and Bama has too many guys who can hit from the perimeter.Bama has played against the best and have won enough games on the road to warrant a look here.

LowTide,

I love this Bama play. another factor is that So Illinois has lost there surprise factor. A lot of these smaller conference school are losing this advantage.

Take care,

2*North Carolina-7.5
I respect Air Force-they are a great story this season. However,I see UNC being able to overcome Air Force's style of play with their huge advantages in athleticism and talent.

2*ETSU+9.5
To me,Huggins is just a good recruiter whose squads never play up too their potential in the tournament.ETSU is a legitimate threat to pull the upset and I am happy to grab the points here.

2*Memphis-2
Rode South Carolina for two win in the SEC tournament against struggling competition.Time to get off and go with a talented squad that could be playing in the second week.

Really feel like Alabama controlled that game too much to not cover. On we go.

2*UNC-4 1st Half
2*UConn-12 1st Half
If these lose so be it.Tired of spread reversals in the last 4 minutes.

LT:

The Bama game was frustrating, no doubt. You've got lots of company with your misery.

Nice hose job on that basket interference call on Okafor.I have been watching and I do not feel like I am chasing here.Gordon can take them off the dribble anytime and UConn is too quick and athletic for these Vermont boys.Famous last words.

Someone remind me how bad I am playing these.

2*Texas+1
Respect the talent of UNC's starting five, but like Texas because of their senior experience and their superior depth.

2*St.Joe's-6
2*Manhattan+8

I bet these games earlier at CRIS.

What are you thinking on the Stanford/Tide game?

You know you're going to do something on it...

Tiger Ven,
I am just going to root like hell for the Tide.In the end,I think Stanford is too big and fundamentally sound for Bama.If forced to,I would play Stanford.Good luck.

Exactly TigerVen & Low Tide, I generally don't lay points in March, but the Tide just don't expend energy on the Defensive end of the floor, and will let their foes get off too many quality launches from the arc, which when playing a superior team like Stanford could mean route.

I said before tourney play on Bama as a dog, and take as they are a go-against when chalk, but can't have Tide today, off what they showed Thursday.

GL Guys!

3*Pitt+1
To me,the only reason to play Wisconsin is because the game is in Milwaukee. Not a good enough reason for me as Pitt as shown nothing but physical and mental toughness all year.

Already on these for Thursday.

3*Wake Forest +3
The Deacons' backcourt has the ability to match Nelson and West basket for basket and Levy and Williams will give Wake the edge inside. Defensive concerns for WF,but feel they have too many weapons for St.Joe's.

3*Alabama+1.5
Alabama is 0 for forever in this round of the NCAA tournament and Syracuse has the zone and the experience,but...Cannot see the Tide shooting as poorly as they did from 3 point range against Stanford. They will not get dominated on the boards either.Call me a homer but I think the boys make the elite eight for the first time and then get waxed by UConn.

3*Hawaii-2
I am sure this will be a large play for cocaptain and I hope it is because then it will cash.To be honest,I did not do a lot of research on this game.I saw the low number and saw Hawaii was at home and hit it.

Aloha Lowtide,

It sure is, a GOM play for me. I as well didnt do the numbers crunching thing, as we all know Neb sucks on the road, and Hawaii is tough at home, but I mentioned other things I liked that gives Hawaii an edge tonight. Gl to us and glad we agree. BTW, congrats on Alabama and UAB, them guys kicking some ass. Who are you mainly rooting for between the two. Aloha CC.

I have always been a Bama fan,but I have been rooting for the Blazers as well.I still detest Auburn and do not want Anderson to end up on the plains.
