#716 Iowa St -14 -110 (1)
#718 NC -12 -110 (1)
#721 Chat -11 1/2 -110 (1) I will be also be playing Chat 1st half when I can make the play
add:
first half: #1721 Chat -6 1/2 -105 (1)
#716 Iowa St -14 -110 (1)
Oklahoma St at 12-17 (3-13) and 13-13-1 ats scoring 67.5 ppg giving up 67.3 ppg for a diff of 0.1
Iowas St at 20-9 (9-7) and 13-12-1 ats scoring 83.0 ppg giving up 75.3 ppg for a diff of 7.7
Diff of 8, Iowa St worth 4-5 at home, line is close, series has been very close in past, although it has been close this is probably one of the weakest Oklahoma St teams in awhile. Injuries have hit them hard this season. Iowa St won the first meeting at Okl St 64-59. They will score a lot more tonight in this environment. They have 3 seniors playing their last home game where they have won 6 straight on this occasion. Iowa St senior McKay appears to have finally jumped on aboard with the program. If his troubles are over and he plays like he did last outing, Iowa St will be tough to be in any game. Last game he scored 14 points and hauled down 17 rebs. Rebs have been one Of Iowa St weaknesses this season. Iowa St had 5 players in DD's last game.
ISU shooting 57.2% from 2 pt fg good enough for 3rd in the NCAA (how will a low scoring team like Okl St keep up with the runs)
ISU 18-3 last 21 home conf games and 32-3 last 35 all games at home.
The last 10 games in this series Iowa St are 7-3 ats (like it)
Going with the home team and the crazy 14,000 + that will be wound up and hoping that they are going to beat a team that has been playing with a lot of heart all year like they should beat in this game. A couple of W's amd Iowa St can move up in conf and hopefully improve their seeding for both the conf tournament and NCAA.
#718 NC -12 -110 (1)
Syracuse at 19-10 (9-7) and 14-14 ats scoring 70.1 ppg giving up 64.8 ppg for a diff of 5.3
NC at 23-6 (12-4) and 11-16-2 ats scoring 83.4 ppg giving up 70.6 ppg for a diff of 12.8
Diff of 8, NC worth 5 at home, line is on spot, a lot on line for this game, NC is now tied with MF for the conf league with a couple of other teams breathing down their backs a game behind. A loss in this game for NC, and then the big game Duke next Sat could lose conf for NC. Cuse has been through a lot this year and yet here they are trying to get to 20 wins.
It's never good to have to go to NC and play, let alone after a NC loss and on Senior night. Their are 6 seniors playing their last home game in front of what will be one crazy student body. NC already 14-1 at home and like I mentioned earlier, tied with MF for conf lead.
NC 9th in NCAA in scoring at 84.4 ppg with a +12.9 scoring margin. (like it a lot with everything at stake)
I like the way NC hits the boards with a 5 board advantage between the two teams. (like it)
NC shooting 48.3% from the field and a strong 73.2% from the ft line. (like it)
Cuse shooting 42.4% from the field and 67.7 from the ft line. (like it a lot)
NC got them 84-73 back in Jan at Cuse. If the put up 84 at Cuse in that place, hitting the 90's is not out of question.
Cuse could play hard and keep this within the number because college hoops can be crazy. (just glad NC hasn't clinched the conf and that it's their last home game) wouldn't spot this many to Cuse if this game was last week.
#721 Chat -11 1/2 -110 (1)
#1721 1st half: Chat -6 1/2 -105 (1)
Chatt at 25-5 (14-3) and 15-10 ats scoring 76.9 ppg giving up 67.0 ppg for a diff of 9.9
VMI at 9-19 (4-13) and 7-14 ats scoring 69.0 ppg giving up 75.2 ppg for a diff of -6.2
Diff of 16, VMI gets the mandatory 3 at home, of course I like it and of course it looks to easy, I've left so much on the table this season because of the too easy thought of thinking, I left 3 on the table yesterday because of that thought of reasoning. Ok, so Chat has the #1 seed no matter for the conf tournament. So what do they care about this game for? What a dumb question when I read it. Of course they care. What team doesn't want to win a game? No team! Who are they over looking them for? And another conf win would give Chatt the conf title out right. How nice would that be to knock out ETSU out of a share of the conf? Very nice I would think!
Chat leads the conf in scoring margin at +9.9 a game and fg& at 46.5.
Chat scoring 76.9 ppg and VMI giving up 75.2 ppg. ( I always like when a high scoring team plays a def that already gives up their average or more going in to the game)
1st half play:
Chatt won first meeting at home 85-59.
The 1/2 time score was 52-33. VMI won the 2nd half 36-33. By the looks of the amount of minutes played by Chat starters the dogs were definitely called of early in the 2nd half.
So, looking for another great start for Chat. I don't expect a 29 point half time lead (sure would take it though) but I do think they can get up to at least 10.
How can you not be focused? You are heading into the conf tournament and you want to head in on a roll.
Chattanooga 6-0 straight up in this series and 5-1 ats with a average score of 83.7 ppg and a 1/2 time average score of 40.3 (going for it even if it looks easy)
VMI are 0-6 straight up in this series and 1-5 ats with a average scor of>>>>63.2 ppg and a 1/2 time average score of 29.5 (same thing)
So it I lose I lose but liking the way things look.
Good luck everyone
