ATM under 64 for .5%
Cedar, a win here would almost salvage the ATM season. I went to 20 straight Texas vs ATM games, and every Texas home game this year. I'm not going to this one, no real reason except a lot of my friends are out of town in the Soviet Union and Costa Rica visiting. I look for the Texas coaching staff to once again play "not to lose" which is very typical of them in big games. When you realize what is at stake here for UT as far as BCS bowling then yes this is a VERY big game. I did have Texas -13.5 at ATM two years ago and lucked out with the late INT TD. Reggie McNeal is going head to head with his high school rival, Vincent Young. ATM has been plagued by turnovers all year and is one of the worst in the nation with turnover margin (106). This has led to a lot of their lopsided scores. Word is that there may be empty seats in aggieland this year. Bottomline: I look for ATM to put forth their best effort of the year today. It will give them something to build on for next year. I dont think they really care about their record at this point, and nothing would be better than a win over their most hated rival. The public is all over Texas HUGE. I love home dogs and I love getting 21 points or more here. There are 3 ways to win: the SU shocker, the relatively close game, and the backdoor cover. I do have a little info from some of the players and staff, nothing earth-shattering, but the gist of it is that they just want to 'escape with a win' and "are a bit concerned with McNeal giving them problems like Matt Jones did with his feet and throw option." I have this one closer to 14 than 21. best of luck whatever you decide.
