Virginia Tech/WVU UNDER 53 -107
2.14/2.00

If I had to pick a side it would likely be Virginia Tech but I believe the solid play is under. WVU should be prepared to play solid special teams to avoid the V Tech punt blocks that they have become famous for. They should run the ball better than most V Tech opponnets also which will chew some clock and keep the V Tech offense on the sideline more than usual. With V Tech's propensity to run the ball as well we should see some time consuming drives on their end. WVU played some spirited defense on the road in Miami so let's hope for an encore at home tonight.

Bought the hook here. Two teams on paper that should be evenly matched and yet the road team is 3.5 point favorites. I think Mizzou will have trouble matching TT on offense so I am laying it here.

You will lose your Penn St pick. Watch on TV, I'll wave at you while the Hawks are kicking ass. The kicker will probably cover the spread by himself. Joe Pa needs to join Hayden Fry in the rocking chair.

Agreed on JoePa. I love seeing Penn State down as a Pitt fan. As for the game Saturday..... that's why they play the games. Good luck Jarbo.

Houston +6 -105
3.15/3.00

The only teams 15th-ranked TCU has beat by more than 3 points were Navy, Army, and Vandy. Line opened at 5.5 and you would assume the linesmakers would have made even lower if not for the 45-14 beating that Houston took at home to Memphis last weekend. I have a hunch that TCU's undefeated season ends here in a bounceback for the Cougars but I'll take the 6 point home dog gladly.

Northwestern +10.5 -107
3.21/3.00

Ole Miss -1 -102
2.04/2.00

Not a strong play for me but it is an unranked favorite over a ranked so worth a unit.

Cincinnatti -28 -101
2.02/2.00

Alabama +3.5 -105
2.10/2.00

Sportsbet: Not too good for the Panthers either compared to expectations.

Michigan -5 -106
2.12/2.00

Bowling Green -3 -115
4.60/4.00

Biggest play this week for me. NI is getting the most attention from the MAC and had a #10 BCS ranking slapped on their resume this week. Let's not forget that BG beat Purdue scoring 27 on their tough defense and also lost a close game with Ohio State. I think NI has more pressure on them with the BCS ranking and the undefeated season AND on the road on ESPN vs. a quality rival. Line opened at -4 and has been drawing NI money. Bought the hook, taking BG.

B&G and Sportsbet;

Yep, that's why they play and that's why they call it gambling. The bye week didn't help the Hawks last week and it won't help PSU. Iowa is MAD! Injury's are no excuses, and Iowa will be thowing everything into this game.

Does the term "wood shed" mean anything to you. If not, that's where you go to get an ass whooping

Edited above posts to add one unit to Ole Miss @ same odds and corrected typo for ASU at -107 to read 2.14/2.00 instead of 2.07/2.00.

Sportbet, I don't know about that 3-1 record at Kinnick. But I do know Iowa has beaten PSU 4 times in a row.

Should have been a much higher margin of victory. PSU was dominated on both sides of the ball. Pound the Rock Baby!

Too many plays caught up with me. Loved BG and really liked the rest. The rest ruined the party.
