John Stockton

This is an example of a player who some will say "he's a HOFamer, how is he underrated.?"

Because he has the most amazing feat in all of sports in my opinion, yet it rarely gets discussed when talking great players.

All-Time records on offense AND defense.

Assist & steals leader.

We'll probably never see it again in sports.

The Bernard King answer was phenomenal

i will go with Patrick Ewing, though King is a better answer (Ewing a better player but gets at least some run).

Man King could score

Funny thing about john Stockton. During the 92 Olympics, he was able to walk the streets of Barcelona and nobody had a clue who he was

More a function of him being a normal height white dude compared to a giant black guy

NBA upcoming Fun Facts

Once he returns to action, LBJ about 12 games from passing MJ to be 4th all time scoring with 32,293

DIRK is just 166 from moving past Wilt to #6 w 31,420 but he may well fall short unless Mavs perhaps fall out of playoff race and then increase his minutes during final month

KDurant, currently at 22,281 could be the only active player with a legit shot at busting 30k. Given his current (and career) avg of 27 pts per game and barring no significant injury he could be homing in on that 30k in about 290 games/3.5 seasons, so about the early 2022-23 season

When LeBeotch hit the number of games that Michael Jordan played in, Jordan had scored like 3,000 more points. It's taken Leflopper a lot more games to catch up to the GOAT

LBJ clearly a less selfish player....looking out for his mates so they can all make better $$$

The REAL answer is Dennis Rodman period.
A real team player, always won no matter where he went.
He made the difference.
