There are only 3 teams in the nba who are undefeated in their respected division and one of those teams is the Atlanta Hawks. Tonight they get a shot at making it 7-0 in the southeast dvision and 2-0 in the season series vs current division leader and last years title winner Orlando. This is a huge game for the hawks. The hawks are shooting for 50+ wins this year and although that is a big goal to accomplish, so far it looks doable. The reason for their success has to do with their dominance at home. Phillips Arena has quickly turned into one of the hardest places to get a win at as the hawks have won 15 of the last 17 games there. We saw how it could get during that celtics series and now it has carried over into the regular season. They have won their last 6 home games by an avgerage of 11 points. Orlando is a great road team. They were last season and they are now but they have loss 2 out of the last 3 road games and have loss 6 out of the last 7 in the ATL. This match up poses the same problem I stated last night in the wiz game. This time the task will be even harder for the magic. Orlando is forced to play rookie lee and reddick at the two guard due to injuries and neither of those players are capable of guarding Joe Johnson or even keeping up with him in scoring. Butler dropped 29, 5rebs, and 5 ast yesterday and now they face a rested hawks team on on a b2b. Hawks are scoring 108 points in the last 5 games so things are rolling right now and they have a prime opportunity to move closer to the number 1 spot with a victory tonight.

I know the record cleveland has over the bobcats but Im making this play based on the current situation. The situation is the Cavs are -14 point favorites coming off a poorly played game. Cavs fell behind by 16 points in the 4th qtr to the 2nd worst team in the nba for an upset loss. The situation also involves the bobcats coming off an OT win against the nba champs. I dont see the bobcats getting a big win like that and following it up with a 15+ point loss the very next night. Confidence plays a significant role in a teams success and when you beat the reigning champions the confidence level has no where to go but up. Bobcats are a pretty good defensive team also and I have no problem getting this many points with a good defensive team. Okafur is on fire and with the cavs missing big Z that should give an advantage to charlotte. With Diaw in the line up and No Z, the cavs have the lesser of the two starting line ups aside from lebron james. Bobcats got up for last nights game wanting to beat the nba champions. Now they get a chance to hand the cavs their first home loss of the season. This will be a single digit game for either team.
