Im still not convinced that Beasley is going to be motivated enough in South Beach to stay in shape to contribute all season long. I hate what Marion can do to a teams chemistry, and I dont believe Wade can take the pounding all season long and stay healthy. I think this team will struggle with rebounding and with point guard play. Their coach is a joke. I think this team is a total fraud, but Im just a hater.
Oh, and their schedule is BRUTAL!

Didn't realize these season totals moved so much...Denver opened at 45.5 and even though I have never bet these before, I almost bet it when I saw THAT number (made a post about it in SeriousAddiction's thread) and now it has come down 5 games...
And I think Miami opened at 33.5...
A lot of value gone with both, but I still think DEN under is a good play as there may be an implosion there before the season is over...

It's not the ultimate sucker bet. That's just silly.
I will no longer be on this for the following reasons:
1. Health. Wade is up in the air going an entire season. Maggloire is already out 6-8 and they are thin as hell up front as it is.
2. A Marion trade. Very likely this could happen if they slip up early.
3. It's 5-6 wins higher than I was hoping to get.
I still think it's solid. Like I said, they will run into a lot of teams not taking them seriously. But banking on them going very near or over .500 is a little much. 31-32 and I'm on it.

The Miami total looks high to me, but like I said, Denver may have problems this year...Nene is very injury prone and there is no viable center to back him up with significant experience if he goes down again...How do you replace Najera's hustle, banging and boards and how do you replace Camby' shot blocks as he was the last (if not the only) line of defense for this team last year?...Iverson in final year of contract and the Nuggets will unload him at the trading deadline to get something for him if things aren't going well...

First of all calling this a homer play makes my face smile :missingte
I've made more money fading the "U" this year than all my friends combined. Oh did I mention I graduated there last year? Only game I was on the "U" was against FSU who didn't possess a passing attack which is the Miami's weakness (see secondary). Oh BTW if it was not for a substitution penalty late in the game I would have swept all my Miami plays this year. You can go to my college football thread if you wish and see my big play on Duke. I knew that Duke was the play before the season and as Sunday lines were going up I was there to pound the soft 6.5 line (which I bought up to 7). Now that we cleared that up.
Unto more important things
Guys I'm well aware of the scheduling, front court, Beasley, and health issues. Naturally I taken their lack of size into account/front court injury. I've also considered Michael's immaturity or shall I say stupidity. Do you actually believe I'm going to place hard earned cash on some play because I want to clap harder when they play?
I'm not sure if your aware how well this team is looking thus far in practices/preseason. Don't think for a minute that a few wins, dives or smiles here and there has persuaded me. What has persuaded me is how hard this team is working to get back into the thick of things. Wade has taken Beasley under his wing and I assure you that at least for this season its going to be all business with this team. Everything I hear from some of the guys who work for the team is on the up and up. These guys are playing with a sense of purpose and a point to prove.....
Again I understand all the concerns but I want you to understand that this team goes .500. Wade IMHO will be the second best player in the conference this year and that's the last thing I have to say.

not a problem. if i'm not mistaken they also do book to book transfers with thegreek, betcris, and Olympic. I will be on both totals as well so lets make some money!
