Looks like the Grizzles and Heat are going to fly under the radar in most peoples opinons. I am interested to see where the Win Total Props are going to come out on teams. I tihnk Milwaukee might be the best bargain out there. I love this team to overacheive with Skiles. He always got off to a rough start in Chicago though because he worked his players too hard in camp and then had the circus trip a couple weeks in. I expect him to do this different this time.

I love how all these "experts" have Miami in the bottom of the league....this is a joke. Do they realize Wade wasn't healthy last year??? Do they realize Beasley is the next Elton Brand with a better jumpshot?? Not to mention they will most likely bring in a Gaurd (Gordon/Marbury) and if Marion sticks they have a great defender in him??? Im just shocked that people think they are gonna repeat their 15 win season. They will be leagues most improved team...40+ wins

I understand why you and Salty love the Heat so much, but I dont know if they will meet your expectations. Im not a firm believer in the rest of that roster. I dont know, maybe there will be some development. Also, Beasley getting in trouble at the camp for rookies doesnt bode well for his ability to stay focused in Miami. As far as Gordon....

Ben Gordon will attend training camp with the Bulls, according to the Chicago Tribune ...

Im aware of Gordon but I don't think hes gonna be there too long...I love Miami this year and im gonna stick with them all season wether they go 12-70 or 50-32...I think they will have GREAT value all year long. Im excited to load up on the season win prop..Will be my biggest bet since Yankees under 95 wins...talk about a gift

Could not agree more. Way undervalued coming in. If the season win total is set too high I have no problem riding them as a home dog on what looks to be many, many occasions..

I get along with you Addiction, and as you know me and Salty are very good internet friends. I trust you guys wont be offended.

Do you guys really think you are seeing something that every other Joe Pub doesnt see? Everyone and their mother saw what Wade did. Beasley is a hype machine himself. The only value that the Heat will have is if they lose to start the season. They will be a VERY fashionable pick all season, and taking a team that only goes 4 deep with a bad coach is just asking to lose your money.

Completely disagree. You are giving Mr Pub wayyyyyyyyyy too much credit. Do you think Joe Blow even watched the Olympics? Chances are there wasn't too many people up at 5 in the morning scouting those games that Wade tore up. Test out this theory. Go ask Jordy how good the Heat are. I bet he laughs at you and says 10 wins.

But more importantly, what they do remember, is the Heat having to scramble at the end of the season to finish with double digit wins. Not too mention, what kind of respect are they gonna garner from their competition? Who is gonna get up for a game with the putrid Heat? I dare you to find one team.

Finally, they still play in the East. It's improving, but it's still not like playing out West which is why Memphis is not worth a millisecond of a look..

If you dont think every play in the L will take them serious you are out of your mind. Every power forward in the L is going to want and kill Beasley. It happens every season with top picks. They get the max effort every time out. Also, every one of them saw what Wade was doing. These teams will give them a solid look at every time they play. I just dont agree Salty.

You dont tihnk Joe Blow watches SportsCenter? The Olympics happened at a very dead time of year for sports and Sportscenter practically got on their knees to suck off eveything Wade did. I think the public should be VERY aware of this guy.

The Heat should also win their first three games. They have New York, Sac-town at home, and the Charlotte. They should win all 3 of those straight up before having Philly at home. I can see value in that one, but they will be favored on the road in 2 or their first 3 on the road.

This team is just way too soft to compete on the road against the tougher teams. Wade still doesnt have a jumper and going to the hole isnt the same against American players. Im not sold on this team one bit.

This being said, I think the Heat go 38-44 this season.

I like Memphis too by the way. This team will play hard and win games against the East the same way the Suns did. Totally tempo. Teams in the East cannot handle the upspeed tempo and I think Ivaroni gets much more out of his team this season. They will do decent against the East and steal some against the West. Defintily a look when they are sitting around 20 for total wins.

They will not take them seriously. It's impossible. Impossible. And it's not possible. You have to remember who we're dealing with here. Grossly overpaid cocky bastards. They will all be laughing on the plane flight to Miami. Even if some PF wants to punk Beasley, he's not going to be taking him seriously. It's just not how it works. These guys are human, they will subconciously sleepwalk into games with them.

This is all arbitrary right now as we have no idea what the total is set at, but I hope they have the same outlook as you and set this in the 20's. Will make my year.

If they see it the way I do and make it higher, I have no problem passing. I'd actually rather not have part of my bankroll tied up for the year.

Marion is in a contract year....which is a good thing for Heat backers. He is all about the $$$.

And btw, if it is in the 20s I will be unloading on it also. I just cant imagine the book makers are that dumb. They toss this thing in the mid 30s and everyone and the mother will be on the Under. I dont think we disagree on this team winning 35+ games, but I cant imagine the total is going to be set where you tihnk it is. Thats all Im saying. If it is in the 20s, I will be opening new accounts to hit that number. I just dont think they are good enough to win 40 games.
