1-0 start. Nothing on Celtics-Nets, but will be watching. Lean on Minnesota +1 1H. Could be that Memphis wants to win this thing on their home court, although that would only be in their subconscious- not in their effort.

Would not be surprised to see Dallas -1 win 2H. Little on it myself.

1.4* Miami/ Atlanta- under 114 (-116) 1H Good chance I'll bet the same on the 1Q line when I see it. Miami's suffocating defense has caused the Hawks to step up their D as well. They are at home, and still are desperate to not go down 3-1.

1.2* New Orleans/ Phoenix- over 214.5 This number just seems too low. The Suns shot 15% from 3 last game, and I'll assume they'll average that out with a 40% kind of day Sunday. The Pelicans have average 111 points in their 3 playoff games.

1* Golden State -4 The Warriors might get the sweep. Last game, Denver gave their all, and still came up short. Too many guys not named Jokic that are not producing. If Curry plays more, which is expected, and he is semi-hot, GS could romp.

Haven't done well on the Bulls- Bucks series, so maybe a lean in the morning. Maybe a play.

Took a bit on Chicago +1 1H.

1.4* Miami/ Atlanta- under 57 I guess this and the 1H play are my top plays Sunday. Decent chance Lowry doesn't play, which is one of the Heat's best scoring threats.

Looking at Monday's lines..

The total seemed too high considering how Miami plays D, and how they have slowed down the Hawks tempo. Some ugly shots by Atlanta.

Only one play on Boston so far (game 2), and nada on the Nets. Going to lay off again, and enjoy the game. Watch out for Boston down the road, but they might lose here and clinch at home.

1* Philly/Toronto- Under 108 1H This line is a little low for a larger play, but I still think it's okay considering how these two play. Both have played a slower tempo, both in the regular season and in the playoffs. Only in game 1 did Philly explode- hitting 50% on 3s and going to the foul line34 times. Embiid's thumb and wrist injuries will likely impede his rebounding and maybe his shooting, but not likely his presence in the post.

2* Dallas -3 Have gone 3-1 in this series, only losing a tight one in Game One. Doncic looked a little gassed, but offensively he was pretty good. Maybe better next game. The good thing about him missing the first 3 games is that other guys stepped up, and now know that Doncic is not the only key player. Dallas also blew the last game late, and that might reaffirm the adage that you have to play 48 minutes, not 46 or 47. Dallas at home, the better defensive team. I also still think Utah has been a team for months that can't put teams away, can't play really well for both halves.

Almost a +3 unit day yesterday. Nice late surge of scoring in the Pels game.

2.5* Memphis -6.5 Thought about betting this at -6 or 5.5, but I don't think the extra juice is necessary. Minnesota recovered their pride by winning last game after blowing a 26 point lead, at home, in Game 3. But just watching them play, I can't see them sustaining any consistency in Game 5 at Memphis. Too many complacent passes, too many times where they have defensive lapses, and a team that is a bit lucky to win Game 4. A lot has been said about KAT's tantrums and lack of discipline...his blaming the refs, etc. As much as he is their best offensive player, and team leader(?), he also can be double-teamed and forced into poor plays and decisions. Just got a sense that Morant will break out of his slump, Memphis goes on some nice runs here, and plays elite D. The refs will likely also be more judicious in their calls, with less ticky tacky ones on the Grizz. Nothing on the 1st half.

2-0 Monday.

1* Miami/ Atlanta- under 112 (-118) Maybe going to the well one too many times with these 1H and 1Q under bets, but some of these Eastern teams just begging for that play. Maybe a 1Q play too, although tonight that would have been a loser in the Philly game.

1* Miami/ Atlanta- under 56 1Q. That makes 2 units on a low scoring 1Q/ 1H.

Mods, My thread disappeared from the NBA forum.

1* Miami/ Atlanta- under 56 1Q. The mods straightened it out. Thanks. I don't know if this line is still at 56, but it was hours ago. So 2 units on a low scoring 1Q/ 1H. In Miami- Atlanta games in this series, and one at the end of the regular season, the 1Q totals were 51, 46, 40, 51 and 46. The Heat have caused the Hawks' fast paced, Trae Young-led offense to slow down and modify their attack.
