NBA Picks 11/15/04 (0-0 YTD)

Hey guys,

Been a member on this forum for while but want to keep track of my picks somewhere and post some plays that I like. I have been fairly successful tihs season, although greed gets the best of me Anyways, here's my first documented pick for the NBA. I haven't been capping all that long, like I said its just a place to keep a record of my picks, so bear with me

2* CLEVELAND -8

I really like this game. Cleveland has been playing pretty good ball lately and Washington is just plain terrible in my eyes. I see the game around a 95-82 range.

UNITS: +0.00

Good Luck....But be careful 8 points is alot for a mediocre Cleveland team. I recommend never laying more than 5-6 points in the NBA...Good Luck...

I agree that 8 is a lot to lay, BUT remember when we thought Phoenix would hammer the Cavs at Cleveland? Yeah, THAT didn't happen: Phoenix went up by 19 in the 3rd, Cleveland caught 'em and took 'em to OT and pounded 'em. These guys are better than we thought when challenged, it appears. Golden State is on their 5th of 5 road games, and though both teams have had a day off yesterday, they really ran the court against Charlotte to make up for their dismal performance against Memphis the day before.

I actually got Cleveland at 7.5, and most on this board seem to be on the Warriors. Why? :WTF: Yes 8 points is a bunch, but these are road tired, miss cupcake at home, can't wait to jump on the plane to get there Warriors. Cleveland will win this and cover, good choice IMHO, Evan.

This is the exact thinking that books like their clients to have...Very square thinking....Do you think that the books havent factored these variables in???
Its all reflected in the number.. I dont mean to sound rude here, just trying to help...8 points on Cleveland is not a smart bet IMO...

Remember, ITS HARD TO IMAGINE HOW PRO ATHLETES REACT, UNLESS YOU HAVE BEEN ONE YOURSELF...

Also, BET THE NUMBER AND NOT THE TEAM......

Anyways, I dont normally make bets on large lines like that. The biggest one I've played was 11.5 and that was weary but it paid off.

Most things were pointed in Clevelands favor tonight, except the number IMO...I had Cleveland -6.5 according to me....lol...So I stayed off it....Good job on the hit....

I rarely lay more than-2 any team and bet mostly dogs...85% underdogs I would say...Also look for Moneyline dogs at home...very good bet..halftimes, good bets can be found....anyways good luck......

Bad play on Utah.. Thought they would destroy the Bobcats. Guess not. Had a good comeback tho. No way they will cover in last few minutes being down by 3 right now.
