"There’s an outside chance he’ll be activated by week’s end," coach Phil Jackson said before Sunday's game. "He looks good; physically, he’s strong." If you're in a daily league, it's conceivable that you could get some use out of him, so watch for reports about his status and hopefully he'll be able to knock the rust off quickly.

"I was a little sore," Ginobili said. "I played a lot of minutes (Friday) in Indiana, with not much rest in between. I really don't know the reason it was sore. I'll talk to the doctors, and we'll see. I want to see if it's normal or not." The quotes were taken when he was on his way to the doctors, and his four-game week may be in jeopardy. Stay tuned.

Kevin Martin - G - Kings

Kevin Martin is listed as day-to-day with an ankle injury after missing Sunday's game against the Warriors.
"I was expecting him to go (Sunday) but he was just a bit sore," Natt said. "He needed some extra time, so that's understandable." Martin is a possible shutdown candidate, and despite the Kings' four-game week would be a difficult play right now, absent a strong report that he will play. Apr. 6

Kenyon Martin - F - Nuggets

Kenyon Martin (ribs) told the Denver Post that he is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Thunder, and by extension of his statements includes Thursday against the Lakers, as well.
Asked if he will sit out until the Lakers game, Martin said: "That's not the plan. But if it's not right by that day, I won't be playing then either because the playoffs are more important. I'm just taking it day by day, doing treatment." The Nuggets have only two games this week, and if K-Mart can't go then Renaldo Balkman and Chris Andersen will pick up the slack. Apr. 6

Tyson Chandler - C - Hornets

Coach Byron Scott told the New Orleans Times-Picayune that Tyson Chandler will probably return April 13 against the Rockets.
"If he can play the last two or three games to get ready for the playoffs, I think that will probably be a fair assessment, " Scott said. It sounds like even if he does return that he won't be 100 percent Apr. 6

James Posey - G/F - Hornets

James Posey (elbow) will be out until at least Friday against the Mavericks, and will be re-evaluated Thursday, according to coach Byron Scott.
Scott said that his return could be delayed to as far out as April 12, and it's safe to assume that Posey's season is over for fantasy purposes. This leaves the door open for Rasual Butler and Peja Stojakovic to pickup what little production Posey was providing for the Hornets, before he was injured. Apr. 6

</TD></TR><TR><TD vAlign=top colSpan=3>Phil Jackson is leaning toward inserting Andrew Bynum (knee) into the starting lineup when he returns to action later this week.
Bynum isn't expected to play on Tuesday, but Thursday's game vs. the Nuggets is looking realistic. The Daily News speculates that he'll be limited to "seven or eight minute bursts" due to a lack of stamina.

Kevin Garnett - F - Celtics

Doc Rivers said at practice Monday that Kevin Garnett will travel with the Celtics on an upcoming two-game road trip, but will not play Sunday at Cleveland.
Garnett is scheduled to go through shootaround next Tuesday (April 14), and could play against Philly that night if all goes well. So a best-case scenario is for Garnett to play in that one and then against the Wizards in Wednesday's regular-season finale. Apr. 6

Nick Young - G/F - Wizards

Nick Young said Monday his injured left knee was feeling better and that he was planning on playing at Cleveland on Wednesday.
He was held out of today's practice for precautionary reasons, although the results of an MRI are still unknown. It sounds like there's a decent chance that Young could play on Wednesday, but he's listed as a game-time decision. Apr. 6

"His conversation to me was that he was really positive and he feels he will be ready to go," Natt said of Martin. "We are just monitoring him." Martin is still not a sure bet to play, but this sounds promising. As for Hawes, it sounds like he would like to play, but remains a game-time decision.

It's unknown which ankle he turned, and Rondo has been dealing with a pair of sprained ankles recently. He's missed just two games this season, and while it sounds like he should be able to go, consider him a game-time decision for Wednesday against the Nets until we get more information.

That's the only information we have, so owners should consider Carney, who was a very hot pick up this week, a game-time decision.

Andrew Bynum - C - Lakers

The Orange County Register reports that Andrew Bynum (knee) is expected to return to action on Sunday against the Grizzlies.
Bynum no doubt has some trepidation about facing Memphis considering that both of his major knee injuries the past two years came against the Grizzlies. That unfortunate coincidence aside, returning Sunday means that Bynum would only play in two regular season games. Apr. 6
