NBA home team Point!

Hi All,
How many points do we give for NBA home team? Someone told me that he gives between 7 and 14, but he did not tell how and when is 7 or 14.
What do you think?

2.5 to a weak home team record, 3 for ave and 3.5 to 4 for a strong home team record (Vs Weak road team record)

I lost small bet on Cleveland because I missed home court point. I still try to figure it out. I calculate Cleveland will win by 11 Points without home court for Clipper. I did debate between 7 and 3 and I did go with 3. I should go with 7 and stay away Cleveland.
Anyway, I will continue to test.
