Books knew they messed up, which is why Dallas went from +5.5 in gm 4 to around PK in gm 6, and -3 in gm 5 to what would’ve been like -6ish in gm 7. Jazz could’ve easily won game 6 with some shot making but it was a legitimate mismatch.
Im not gonna rub it in, don’t really care enough. If anything sucks I doubt there’s value like that rest of the playoffs.

Strategy for Utah should’ve been to get out and run with Mitchell off of long Mavs rebounds (of which there were plenty given all the 3 pt attempts from Dallas)
Only thing they could’ve exploited Mavs with was Mitchell off the dribble. Not sure why they didn’t go to it more given how the refs were calling everything on the Mavs in the 4th
Too many rushed 3’s. Utah takes a ton of 3’s but unfortunately aren’t great at shooting them
Also laughable how bad Utah guarded this series. Mavs offense is literally set a screen for Luka and other 3 guys sit and be ready to shoot. Very little movement and yet Utah couldn’t defend it to save their lives. You mention shot making, but reality is Utah dodged a bunch of bullets really with missed Mavs 3’s

They will struggle with Luka a bit (I guess everyone does), but Phoenix probably will handle their other guards pretty well. Only concern will be Cp3 defensively if Luka/Brunson on floor, though maybe they throw him on a wing shooter
